5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: A host of features, a ridiculous amount of adapter cables, solid stock cooling, and good stock clock speeds.

Cons: The bundled software suite is lacking, and it may even not include a program that is advertised on the box.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Card, but slightly dated now

Pros: This card runs reletivley cool with stock cooling. Has SM3 support and handles most everything acceptably and 1280x1024 res with no AA and 4x AF

Cons: Its basically a tad slower than my AGP X850XT was (134 points in 3dmark 05) Connect 3d sticker cam loose within minutes of starting a benchmark, and promptly stuck to a fan blade adn made ALOT of noise

Other Thoughts: System=
Pentium D 930 @ 4ghz
2GB DDR2-800 D9 Mem
ASUS 650i mobo
Audigy 2zs
320gb HDD

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: very swell card. i have it running at 553core/684mem. have had it running past 700 on mem. but didnt wanna risk it, even though i had no artifacts. overclocked with ATI Tool, and idles at 43*C gets up to 65*C when playing HDR games and graphic intense games. its big so you feel like your moneys well spent. movies play nice on my bigscreen. VIVO is just very nice to have.

Cons: none. doesnt over heat, fans not loud unless it gets hot, but then thats called doing its job. but then if your case is air tight with no fans because "the noise is too loud" this will overheat. sorry i just hate those people.

Other Thoughts: anyways its not quite a steal at this price, but if it drops a little more, then it will be. and if you give this puppy a nice processor and RAM youll be set for another year or two until you must get DX10. and field, no comment...... also new drivers are out on i believe ati.amd.com

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The only pro that I can give is that the customer service handled my DOA concern the best that they could.Newegg customer service is the best , that's why I keep coming back to them !The 5 stars is for Newegg not the card.

Cons: Card was DOA , one of the chips was actually laying in the anti-static bag when I opened the box.

Other Thoughts: Once again Newegg customer ser vice is great.I would have rather had a good video card but Nwegg did all that they could to correct the situation promptly !

5 out of 5 eggsGood until DX10

Pros: The box comes loaded with extra wires and such, as well as a decent driver CD and a free copy of a 3D program (which i haven't used yet). The card manages to stay cool even at powerful overclock settings. Also, the attractive decal is a nice touch.

Cons: Part of the decal on my card was partially worn off when i opened the box. Not a huge problem since it's on the bottom of the card and you hardly see it. The fan can be a little noisy but it's not horrible. It gives off a deep whirring noise rather an annoying buzzing sound (like some Nvidia cards) so it's manageable.

4 out of 5 eggsshader 3.0 sound good.

Pros: Great looking card. Price is good considering you're getting GGR3 256bit and shader 3.0. Udate the newest drive at manufacturing webside or go to ati website. Update can improve your card performance and fix any bug that causes system crash during a gameplay.

Cons: I really hated the stock fan..Loud even at start up(no kidding!) overheated can be a big problem. unscrew the stock fan and invest in a 30-40bucks cooling fan. But DirectX 10 is comming out next year, dont bother buying extra cooling stuff for this card unless you're on a budget and plan to keep it for at least a year because this card and some high end ati x19xx and nvidia 79xx can become somewhat useless when updating to Windows Vista.

Other Thoughts: I strongly recommended this card for performance and price but if you want a better performance card at about the same price or 10-20buck more get the (7900gs from biostar) much faster speed and has better everything but vivo(video in,video out). I wish I can return this x1800gto for 7900gs but in some benchmark test this x1800gto can out perform 7900gs card like 4/10 test. Very close call from ati, but hey...ATI is still my choice for card don't you agree?

3 out of 5 eggsNot that impressed

Pros: Has a LOT of features. Plays BF 2 and WoW, etc on high settings without a scratch.

Cons: Not as great as I thought it would be for multitasking games. I play multiple accounts of MMO's at one time (it keeps them fast paced and interesting for me) and this card just can't keep up.

Other Thoughts: If you're playing 1 game at a time this card rocks. if you like to multitask this card is perhaps not for you.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: huge upgrade for me, so of course it's an amazing difference, but it's a really great card, easy overclock, and no problems getting it going

Cons: i wasn't able to unlock the other 4 pipelines

Other Thoughts: i overclocked the core to 625 and the memory to 1322 combined and got a 3dmark05 score of 8183, so i'm happy with that... it's an upgrade from a geforce4 mx420, so i'm very happy with this :P

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: I have a very quiet system (14dB SilenX case fan and silent power supply)...even so, the connect3D fan is inaudible unless I push it very hard on hot days.

Only takes up a single slot.

Runs all my games with max settings.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I had a rebate when I bought this card...connect3D got the check to me within 3 weeks (mailing probably accounted for 2 of them). Can't remember that kind of turnaround from any other company.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: I bought this card when it had the rebate on it for a total price of $xxx! Thats really cheap. It runs all my games perfectly on high settings. Buy this one!

Cons: None so far as I can see. Haven't tried O/C'ng but I imagine it won't do much :(
