5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This card inexpensively rehabilitated an older computer for gifting, while in fact upgrading its graphics over the discrete oem card.

Cons: Not modern enough for consideration in a new economy build.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card - not for gaming!

Pros: nVidia GPU's are always stable and solid, rarely any problems. Has 512mb memory for holding lots of HD texture maps. Now it's ridiculously cheap (when I bought it new, it was over $100).

Cons: 7 series is several years old - this card will NOT hold you over if you want to play any modern games on anything but the lowest settings with anything but the lowest resolution. My brother is using this card now with a 3.0 quad core and 3gigs DDR2, the card is definitely holding his system back. TF2 with all lowest settings, and he gets 9 fps. It's pretty sad.

Other Thoughts: WAR, WOW, TF2, anything that came out in the last 6 months/year can't be played smoothly with a 7600GS. You're better off with an 8 series card (8600 or better) at least.

2 out of 5 eggsNot too great

Pros: 1. Cheap
2. Small?

Cons: 1. Not that great performance. I get low FPS even on lower settings when playing games released within the past year.
2. The fan started making a super loud noise and is really annoying. I'm assuming this isn't a standard feature and I will be RMAing.

Other Thoughts: Buy a 7600GT or at least a decent brand 7600GS. 3D Fuzion = Budget BFG cards.

4 out of 5 eggsIt does work with Asus

Pros: Good features (e.g.: dual-link DVI, HDTV, 256 MB onboard) + cheap

Cons: None after testing for more than 10 hours

Other Thoughts: Install using Forceware 93.71 drivers in Asus A8N-E with BIOS version 1013. No problems during installation, testing, or using any application. NTune reports temps: CPU = 37C ( ZALMAN CNPS7000B-CU), System = 40C (single 120 mm rear fan), and GPU = 47C (stock heatsink/fan)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for average user

Pros: This card is Fast enought for an average user or gamer and will work with Vista because it has 256mb onboard. Its aslo responsive and stable and easy to install with the unified Nvidia drivers.
Doesn't get too hot either.

Cons: Beware thea fan can get a little noisy from being unbalanced or of low grade. But not noticeable if case is closed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great value, SLI capable. No requirement for extra power.

Cons: Slower than a plain 7600. Not a lifetime warrenty

Other Thoughts: The 7600GS is the lowest end of the "Real" NVidia 7th Generation Cards; it has all the appropriate Bells and Whistles, can play everything out there, and can get reasonable frame rates. It might not be the first choice for a hardcore FPS though, as it is the SLOWEST of the Gamer cards of this generation (but is still plenty fast). It's SLI capable, and doesn't require a power connector from the PSU... bonus! Hardcore FPS gamers should go with a 7800GS or a 7600GT, but everyone else will be more than pleased with this card. And the price is FANTASTIC. BTW, it's made by BFG, but doesn't have BFG's lifetime warrenty.

Pros: Video on this card in SLI is awesome. Great price for the speed and awesome graphics it outputs

Cons: fans a very loud, I've had it 2 months now and I want to replace the fans to make my machine quiet. They weren't this loud when I first purchased it.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: This is an amazing card. I put this in my first computer I built myself. It works great, plays almost all games on high settings without an fps drop. I love it, especially since I mainly play WoW and Counter-Strike, I don't need an incredibly high FPS card, and this one amazingly gets the job done very well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Once I get a new motherboard, I'm definitely going SLi.
