BFG and Danger Den have combined to bring you the first DirectX 10 video card with a factory water block cooling system, and they didn’t do it with just any processor. They took a screaming fast GeForce 8800GTS and overclocked it to 580Hz. Then they loaded it with 640MB of GDDR3 memory with an ultra wide 320-bit data path.
The custom water block replaces the double-slot fan that can take up precious room in the case. Each card will be hand assembled by specially trained technicians with Arctic silver thermal compound for maximum thermal conductivity. In the box are 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" barbs so you can tailor the system to your needs. BFG strongly recommends Danger Den pumps and kits.
The built in PureVideo HD Technology was specifically designed to enhance your HD experience. Built-in hardware decode acceleration of H.264, VC-1, WMV and MPEG-2 HD and SD movies provides a theater-like experience. The HDCP compliant dual-link DVI ports allow you to play your HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs.

Cool, thin and fast
- Pros: This version of the 8800 series is quite awsome. I was going to buy a 640mb 8800 GTS and add the liquid cooling block myself, but this was only about $30ish more than buying the block seperate and doing it myself. Plus its factory overclocked, which is great seeing as nVidia's drivers don't support doing that yet. From what I've seen, this overclocked card is just about on par with the my friends 8800 GTX give or take about 10 or so fps on higer resolutions. For the same price as the 8800 GTX, This card only takes 1 slot and runs about 35C under load.
- Cons: The card is rather heavy when compaired to air cooled units, but thats expected and poses no real problems.
- Other Thoughts: I've tried running this card on XP, Vista x86 and Vista x64. The card benchmarks highest on XP, but DX10 support will only supported in Vista. I found the nVidia drivers for Vista x64 to be more stable with less graphical glitches than on Vista x86.
No More BFG
- Pros: great if you got a good one :(
- Cons: 1st DOA and killed the 1st pci e 16 slot on my asus p5e3 deluxe mobo , i had to rma both.
2nd DOA have a broken capacitor on the card , plastic bag around the card looks like somebody just picked up from the trash :(...
- Other Thoughts: i use to have asus v.card's always i installed the water cooling block on them. Never had any problem. This card came with water cooling block , i thought i can save some time i dont have to remove the air cooling from the card...install the h2o block...

Great Card
- Pros: I have owned this card for about 7 months. all the games I've , Bio Shock, HL2, NFS, Stalker, .... have played on the highest settings and looked great. I initially bought it because I have a BTX Mother board, and this card fit in a single slot.
- Cons: The card is heavy, make sure you secure it.
- Other Thoughts: Water cooling is more effort. you have to check the level of the coolant every so often. Not an issue with the Card, b ut more water cooling in general.
- Pros: good card really is,but
- Cons: some of the dvi inputs tend to not work after awhile with red lines coming down your screen had to rma BOTH my cards but its ok got them back with in 1 week, tech support for bfg is really good lifetime warranty, they should of fixed these issue first...
- Other Thoughts: just be careful on these cards some come good some come bad overall these cards are a 10!!!!
