- Pros: ok my xp machine i had it was ok graphics def not the best but good for a 256mb card!
- Cons: doesnt work well on vista like others have said, worked ok on my old emachine with xp
- Other Thoughts: i paid $169 for this card at best buy over 2 yrs ago!!
Okie for low end
- Pros: Very cheap, has PCI which is becoming extinct, Not bad performance for PCI shared bus (USB and PCI run on same bus).
Can play some newer games, C&C3 Tiberium wars but only on low settings, anything above it gets unstable. Can overclock easily, my card holds 450Mhz core and 500mhz memory.
- Cons: Vista drivers suck period, card will continuely crash in games, but for dual-monitor workstation graphics (no games) it works beautifully. Tried to get Nvidia to support the driver issue but they kept suggesting updating to newer drivers (which you can only do so many times), hasnt fixed the problem in Vista yet.
Runs better in XP but has the black dashes, lines, no crash though etc.
- Other Thoughts: Needs 128bit archetecture, 64bit is probably to blame for some of the unstability. Good card for cheap, 60 at wally world. Has lots of features for the price.
Works great
- Pros: Easy install -about 15 min w/ drivers & sofware. No problems. Installed on an almost 4 years old eMachines Celeron because installed 3D cad program and bought 22 in Acer monitor onboard video did not support in 1680 X 1050. Works great w/ 3D cad even though using on cheapo Celeron computer.
- Cons: None. Bought from Walmart, not Newegg because was in a hurry.
