4 out of 5 eggsOkie for low end

Pros: Very cheap, has PCI which is becoming extinct, Not bad performance for PCI shared bus (USB and PCI run on same bus).
Can play some newer games, C&C3 Tiberium wars but only on low settings, anything above it gets unstable.
Can overclock easily, my card holds 450Mhz core and 500mhz memory.

Cons: Vista drivers suck period, card will continuely crash in games, but for dual-monitor workstation graphics (no games) it works beautifully. Tried to get Nvidia to support the driver issue but they kept suggesting updating to newer drivers (which you can only do so many times), hasnt fixed the problem in Vista yet.
Runs better in XP but has the black dashes, lines, no crash though etc.

Other Thoughts: Needs 128bit archetecture, 64bit is probably to blame for some of the unstability. Good card for cheap, 60 at wally world. Has lots of features for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Easy install -about 15 min w/ drivers & sofware. No problems. Installed on an almost 4 years old eMachines Celeron because installed 3D cad program and bought 22 in Acer monitor onboard video did not support in 1680 X 1050. Works great w/ 3D cad even though using on cheapo Celeron computer.

Cons: None. Bought from Walmart, not Newegg because was in a hurry.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: This card is very easy to install and a great card for any computer without PCI Express slots.
Multiple outputs is always a plus
low noise level
It's a BFG
if not the best Close to the best PCI card out there
only use if you dont have a pci express slot or if you cant afford a better one

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: i got it from walmart so was a little nervious about it but it plays all my games fine (counter strike source) (WoW) (RFO) (the sims2...Lawlz) it takes a load off of my cpu and ram...was using intigrated graphics so yeah good stater card or a cheapy if your on a tight budget

as soon as i build my computer im gettin a 8800gt from bfg

3 out of 5 eggsWeak

Pros: Cheap PCI Card.... has DVI output

Cons: Incredibly Weak...I bought this card for a 3rd monitor and im thinking of getting a replacement for it already. I don't expect it to be a monster like my 8800 but it has a hard time maintaining a 1680x1050 resolution w/ minimal activity. (i've gotten tearing on numerous occasion with simple applications in the background)

Other Thoughts: I suppose it'd be ok for weaker systems on smaller monitors...

1 out of 5 eggsblack dash fever...

Pros: Has a warranty?

Cons: Has a restocking fee...

Other Thoughts: I actually bought the card from w@||y world with every intention on returning it in a few days when my 8800_gts shows up. I could tell it had been returned once before. Only bought it to limp on after my 6600_gt had its last leg give out and this is the only thing I could buy at a store at 1am.

5 out of 5 eggsBFG Version Is the Best

Pros: Cool looking fan, Nice Core and memory clock rates, plays games better then the Visiontek 2400 HD pro, and FX5500. Temp checks and overclocking abilities are easy to do. Just use riva tuner and you will be fine. Also make sure you use the driver 158.27 for best results. I can run none of the newer games of course, expect for Time Shift and those new tomb raider games. Overall great card, temp seems to be around the 50's about 90% of the time. Installing the card was easy to do, no problems. A must buy , just make sure you pay 40 or 50 dollars for it.

Cons: 64BIT INTERFACE. Why or why. This card can push out better results if the card had a 256bit or 128bit bus, but oh well. Other then that, can't think of anything bad about this card. Its the OC edition, so it has higher clocks then the normal. Would of been nice if the core clock was higher, but you can just overclocked it.

Other Thoughts: Is it worth buying in 2008? Well if you only have PCI sure. But there are more PCI cards coming out, so unless you can find this card for 40 or 50 dollars, i wouldn't bother with it. I am using it until i grab the 8400 OR 8600 OR 8500 GT PCI card.

3 out of 5 eggsGaming? Think again

Pros: It is lovely for the first couple of days. Gave me about 50 more fps over an integrated 32mb vid card. Can play a lot more games, and good price for a PCI card

Cons: Freezes games most times, gets more severe the longer you have the card. Sometimes it freezes when you play videos. When i play games, it sometimes freezes in the lobby

Other Thoughts: I was happy about having this, until freezing about 3 minutes into first playing a videogame, which i thought was a bug, but it wasn't it happens very frequently now.

5 out of 5 eggsDid what i wanted it to do.

Pros: This card played move movies and everything right out of the box all i had to do was plug it in. Put in the Cd and it worked just fine. Getting dual screens was more of a challenge but i blame window for that. It played my guild wars on max settings. Most of the time i would give a card like this a 4. I got this card about 2 years ago it cost a fair share of money to. I did not even look at the box really just that it was nvida 256RAM and BFG and i was sold i had the card in there up to 6 weeks ago and when i pulled it out and put my new card in there i was the line up for the bars were different it turns out i was running my PCI card in an AGP socket and it was working just fine as if nothing was wrong so to that i give this card a 5.

Cons: There is no error that the fan was not working on the thing the fan stopped working on it i dont know when it stopped working but it did not affect the card what so ever played the games just as well.

Other Thoughts: Thinking back to how much i paid for this card when it was the new thing the 6000 series just started and had one of the hot new cards but now its worth 60$ I am thinking of putting it up online for cheap it did well for the time i needed it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card for "old school" pc's.

Pros: Running this card on an Insignia D300 Desktop with Intel 845GVSR Chipset, 2.8 GHZ P4, 400 MHZ FSB and 1GB of DDR 333 RAM. Works fine, has not quit yet ! Runs BF2 without lag on LOW settings. Same applies to BF 2142. Still runs those games above LOW settings but it starts to lag.

Cons: Has black dashes that appear randomly as stated in previous helpful reviews. Also would not play back DVD videos with Nero Showtime ! I un-installed the drivers that came with the card and went to NVIDIA's website. Installed version 84.21 under "Archived Drivers" and it played DVDs flawlessly.

Other Thoughts: The 6200 is the best chipset available that I know of for PCI chipsets. Good card !
