5 out of 5 eggsIt finally died

Pros: Excellent performance, great build quality, decent lifespan. It was an excellent card that handled all the games I enjoyed over the years. Farcry and Crysis series all ran well with the card. It struggled with Dishonored but soldiered on. Its death came at the hands of Skyrim (and maybe dust bunnies).

Cons: It died.

Other Thoughts: Purchased in 2007and it failed in 2015. Well it's not 100% dead, there are red waves all over the screen (the last gasp of its existence). I'm ordering a new card today and might try baking the BFG card.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Card for the Cash

Pros: This card performs very well, solid benchmarks and very playable frame rates. I play at 1680x1050x32 and easily maintain 60+fps on most of my games on highest detail settings. I haven't tried Crysis or Bioshock yet, but I'm confident this car would handle it on my system.

Runs very quiet and fairly cool in my system, in spite of the factory overclocking. If it isn't fast enough for you, you can actually overclock the card more - provided you know what you're doing.

My last 3 cards have been BFG Tech and they're always rock solid.

Cons: Big and bulky, but that's the norm these days - think twice before cramming one of these into a mini-ATX case.

GeForce-based PhysX is not supported in all games.

Other Thoughts: Great card, especially at Newegg pricing. Newegg Rocks!

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Card

Pros: Excellent Perfromance

Cons: If you want to play Crysis with this card make sure you buy a 3GHZ processor because i made the mistake of getting the Q6600 which is only at 2.4

5 out of 5 eggsNice card, but its hot.

Pros: This is a nice card, it comes factory overclocked to 675mhz core, i oc'd it some more to 700. Its stable, no artifacts. I tested with ATI tools. Works great with Riva tuner, I configured it to auto- control fan speeds.

Cons: Runs hot, idles at 58C and load can go up to 70C. But thats also because of my poor case ventilation.....im sure i could hit 45 idle with good airflow.

Other Thoughts: Fan looks a little small for the card, but does it job. No problem tackling even crysis on medium settings, considering its being paired with a Pentium D! Lol. Im gonna get that upgraded though.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellect video card!

Pros: Looks clean, no protruding components. Performs flawlessly, scored a 5.9 in Windows Vista Perfomance Benchmark. I know, not the best benchmark software, but it gives a good idea of it's performance.

Great card for the price, thinking about buying another one for SLI, just make sure your system can handle SLI. Example: Power supply

Cons: I'm not a uber tech savvy person who scours the video card for the slightest hint of a problem, so I have NOT encountered any problems at this point in time. I will suggest not messing with settings if you don't know what you're doing (DOH!).

Other Thoughts: Great looking card, the picture is a little weird on the side, but I don't have a case window so it doesn't bother me. I really only play Day of Defeat: Source and World of Warcraft, so it is MORE than adequate for what I do on a daily basis. I have all my graphics settings turned up to MAX and this card barely breaks a sweat. Highly recommended for the casual gamer and possibly higher end games as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Great card. Plays Age of Conan nicely, though not maxed out. I was able to overclock the card a little, got 720 on the core and 1000 on the ram (without doing anything to the card other than riv@tuner.

Cons: Seems to get really hot. Didn't overclock as well as I thought, despite an 80mm fan blowing directly at it sideways (as if the card was a fin) at full blast. Maybe I just got unlucky. I had higher hopes for the G92 core.

Other Thoughts: If I monkey'd around and applied arctic silver to the heatsink, and perhaps was brave enough to do the 1.1v bios flash, I may be able to get more OC out of this card, but I'm not sure I want to play around that much with a new investment.
