5 out of 5 eggsIncredible!

Pros: This card can handle any game that I've tested so far except for Crysis, since I don't have it. I can play Call of Duty 4 on all max settings at 1440x900 and still pull over 60fps constantly. It plays the Bioshock demo wonderfully, never dropping below 65fps. Runs very cool for a single slot cooler if you ste the fan speed to 100%. This card idles at about 40C and under load around 55-60. Definitely recommend using fan tweaking software to speed it up, not only does it prolong the life of the card, it's not as loud as people claim. In my XBlade midtower case I can barely hear it above my case fans, 2 80mm and 1 120mm.

Cons: Not really a con but it is pretty large. I had to move one of my hard drives to put it in, but that's not a big deal. Another con...I got this card cheaper locally :[ Ah well.

Other Thoughts: I took this card out of the box and I was instantly pleased, it's very sleek and beautiful. No imperfections on it, it looks like a new car should. Came with all the connectors, drivers CD, cool case stickers, that was a plus. I'd definitely recommend this card to anyone who's looking to upgrade their system. I replaced my old X1650 AGP with this, I'm extremely pleased with it.
System specs:
E2160 1.8ghz, not overclocked during tests.
2g DDR2 667 RAM
Cooler Master Hyper TX2 cpu cooler
450w PSU
This card

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: -cheap and fast
-plays everything i have well

Cons: -fan is loud, replaced with zalman deal
-its big, just be warned

Other Thoughts: does not work with macs yet, atleast with the 10.5.2 version. Cant' run it on my hackintosh, but not really its fault. Runs on my vista machine just fine, plays COD4 and crysis on high settings at 1920x1200.

2 out of 5 eggsAnother BSOD Story

Pros: When working properly, this is a good performer for the money. However...

Cons: ...I will echo the comments of others. I also saw continual Black Screens of Death. After trying a bunch of stuff, I returned the card for a new 9600. Knock on wood, this one seems more stable. Unfortunately, it has some major problems with World of Warcraft. Where my old 6800 ran continually between 50-70fps, I've gotten as low as two fps on the 9600. From browsing the NVIDIA forums, it seems others have experienced both issues.

Other Thoughts: Whether it is an architecture or driver issue, I would recommend others wait until they are fixed before purchasing a 9600. I will probably install a 7600 I have laying around until they fix the issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the Money!

Pros: This card is amazingly fast! Obviously it out performs my SLi configured 8500GTs. I play Crysis on Ultra High detail (1280x800), at about 20-25fps which is alot better than 5-10fps. Everything else: CoD4, Sins of a Solar Empire, Enemy Territory: QWs, I play at my monitor's native resolution (1440x900), at 8xQ or 16xQ Anti-Aliasing, and they run flawlessly!

Cons: Card runs a tad bit hot for my taste. I noticed a 5-10degree increase in ambient temperature inside my case.

Other Thoughts: I'm running Windows Vista x64, and no problems!

I'd recommend this card to anyone wanting a beefy upgrade. This card is a great bang-for-your-buck. Anyone that has been having the "black screen of death", recommend either RMAing it for another one, or checking your PCIe voltage settings.

2 out of 5 eggsScratch my previous review...

Pros: Great card with extremely powerful potential. Price is perfect for anyone looking to get a great card. It's a BFG card. Otherwise it would be nice to see some things below...

Cons: Go read up on just about any of the 9600 cards on the market and you will keep hearing about "Black Screen of Death" issues, well this card is no exception. I love BFG products and trust them 100% but there is MOST DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG WITH 9600 ARCHITECHTURE!!!

Other Thoughts: Other buyers and myself have done everything to see if it was infact the card and it most definitely is, not your PSU, Memory, CPU, Cooling! Nvidia needs to fix this problem and until then my card is getting returned and I'll be purchasing an 8800 like everyone else has been doing after this dissapointment!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!!

Pros: I got 2 of these in a sli config amd 6400 proc. I now score just under 13,000 3dmark06. I picked up 3200 points just because of these cards over my 7950gtx512 cards I removed to install these.

Cons: NONE! at all.

Other Thoughts: was hesitant to get these or 8800gtx's. Not disappointed at all, very good bang for the buck.

5 out of 5 eggsFriggin' Sweeeet!!!!!

Pros: Well to start things off don't EVER purchase a HP Media Center PC!!!! It's IMPOSSIBLE to install anything into it. Now on to the card. For the bang-for-the-buck you can't miss this card!!! I played COD4, AOE3, SIMS2, Sin of a Solar Empire, and yes even CRYSIS! No problems whatssoever. And as far as anything else goes within' the Vista OS it runs smoothley.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE IT!!

Pros: its awesome...I cannot stress how good this card is. =] I can FIANNLY max out Oblivion on High Settings, with AA on x8. I got this as an upgrade from my 8500GT, and I can say that in Wow, I get wayy over 100FPS, even in hughe populated cities

Cons: as many people have said, it is kinda big. lol but I have a my stock case from the factory..I have an HP computer, and it slipped in like a glove =]

Other Thoughts: this does not, and probably never will, get the credit it deserves. For people wanting 8800GT perfprmace, but on a little bit tighter budget, get this car, you cant go wrong =]

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Amazing product, I got this to replace my 7900 GS, it did that plus more I play 1400x900~? resolution and get 16xAA on TF2 max settings, the game is so gorgeous with it, DX10 also brings a performance boost to games in the Orangebox, although nothing visual. And it can run Crysis medium with stable FPS

Cons: The card doesn't make me breakfast, no matter how high I overclock it.

Other Thoughts: If you have the motherboard, get dual/tri sli of this, future proof ;)

3 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Pretty fast for the price! But not great

Cons: The card is nice, but you can buy a 3870 for the same price, and get more performance out of it. I bought this to replace my 3870 - died - Its not a bad card, but its nothing great. Save your money and get a gx2(when they come out) or get a 8800Series card.

Other Thoughts: I bought this locally for fifty bones more! But I was dying for some graphcics, and this was the best card BB had.
FOR EVERYONE WHO OC's - with a q6600 @3.8, 4gb 1000mhz ram, this card OCed as far I could go - 13,116 3dmarks - not bad
