5 out of 5 eggsVery Sound Purchase

Pros: Bought this as an upgrade from 8600GT - very nice visual boost. Best performance upgrade for your money (bang for your buck) IMHO. Very happy with my purchase.

I previously had to sacrifice visuals for smooth play previously but this GTX260 handles all my current gaming needs (World of Warcraft, StarCraft II Beta) at max settings - no more sacrifices.

This should be able to handle many other games at max/near max settings although I've not put the time into installing and trying them just yet. I can report back later on those.

Cons: See Other Thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con, but wanted to reiterate the size of these cards. They are big, but fit into my Antec Nine-Hundred case with no problems at all.

5 out of 5 eggsBfg Tech is Number One.

Pros: works with windows 7 outstanding frame rates clear as a bell picture on the highest settings

Cons: really BIG make sure that it will fit in your case before ordering it

Other Thoughts: even after making sure it would fit, I still had to Mod my case. but after that job it was well worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsLF good times..PST

Pros: The price/performance ratio on this card is great. Run's all my games at max settings just fine.

Cons: Huge card, covers my only PCI slot, SATA headers, clear CMOS pin, and runs pretty dang hot..80c during gaming.

I have a Full tower case, 3 feet tall, and the card was 1 1/2 inches from hitting the HD cages.

Used same card in a mid tower case for a friend and had to actually pry open a HD cage so the card could slid into it...Make sure you have room, or dont mind a lil ghetto case modding to get it to fit.

Other Thoughts: Good thing nvidia has great support of Linux drivers, or i may have tried ATI this time around.

Pros: Amazing card, plays MW2 on ultra high with no problems.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: ITS HUGE! I have a tsunami dream thermaltake full size atx case and I had to cut out part of the HDD bay to make it fit its actually longer than my motherboard by 3 inches!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice!

Pros: Bought two of these, upgrading from a slightly slower 4870 1gb ddr5 version. These two perform great in a SLI setup, game play is much more crisp and prompt, luvin' it!

Cons: HUGE!!! not really a con for me, but some might consider so.

Other Thoughts: i7 940
3gb ddr3

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: My previous 3 cards were ATI and I was leaning toward 4870 1GB. But at this card's current price, considering the lifetime warranty of BFG, it was too good a value to pass up. With the fan speed upped from 40 to 50%, the card idles at ~45C and ~65C under load. In my case the GTX 260's fan is not audible below 60%.

Cons: I wish Nvidia included the ability to force refresh rates in the driver control panel. ATI includes this feature in its Catalyst program (note this has nothing to do with BFG).

Other Thoughts: system:

AMD X3 Phenom II 720 BE @2.80GHz
Artcic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro
Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P
G. Skill 1333 DDR3 4GB
WD Blue 640 GB
BFG GTX 260
Corsair 650W PSU
Coolermaster RC 690 Case
