5 out of 5 eggsWhew, worth it!!!

Pros: Yeah, I know, it's one year old already. Why did I buy this?

Adobe CS5!!!

Yes. It's for real! Mercury Playback Engine on Premiere Pro--- it's amazing! Rips at everything I throw at it! Yes, you heard me right! Runs DSLR formats, XD-CAM EX1 formats, and DVCPRO HD---- without any hiccups!

It also performs very well on After Effects and Photoshop CS5...

Cons: HUGE CARD! Barely fit into my CM STORM SCOUT tower... This is the biggest fish in the tank, I'm tellin' you!

Other Thoughts: I'm glad that I didn't buy Quadro cards... "Quackro" cards...

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Video Card

Pros: SLI Support, DDR3 ram, 512Bit, 1gb ram.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Installing this card took my Windows Experience to 7.2 without a hiccup. We use this card with Adobe' Creative Suite 4 and it works well with it. We fully use this program and all its features. This card does well and didnt have to spend the $1200 bucks on the suggested card from Adobe'. However we do not do the Mega-Hardcore 3D Rendering that the recommended card will do. Still, it does what we need and does it well.

5 out of 5 eggsThese cards are awesome!!

Pros: they are awesome.. I keep reading after these people downing these cards.. My two work better than they are supposed to.. I over clock them to 700 Mhz core and the temps never go above very low 60s with the fans at 70%.. and for the record ALL 200 series cards require more fan speed.. and I have had several 200s from 250s (I know G92 not 200) 260s 280s and now these 285s.. Evga and BFG both are great cards and come with lifetime warranty so no worries.. Great cards watch for a special and enjoy!

Cons: None..

Other Thoughts: I am aware that they are large and I am aware that they make heat.. But they are supposed to!! people who complain about this just aren't familiar with these high end cards.. adjust you fan speed and they will stay with in required temps.. Max thermal temp is 105c so stop complaining about 70c

2 out of 5 eggsNot the best decision...

Pros: Does the job its suppose to do.

Cons: The size of this thing is pretty massive. After having 2 months realized that this was my problem, during HD video clips computer would stutter. Had to underclock this to 533 MHz, which is not what I paid for...

Other Thoughts: In my opinion don't buy it

4 out of 5 eggsGood card but....

Pros: Easily handled Age of Conan DX10 graphics and City of Heroes Ultra Mode. Vast improvement from my 8800GT I had before.

Cons: It's BIG, make sure you have a full size case or it may not actually fit. Plus it takes up to rear slots, so if it's the bottom SLI will block 1 PCI slot.

Second, runs HOT. Few mins into Age of Conan temp spikes to 75C and rising. Had to use the nvidia ntune software to manually turn the fan speed up to 100% to keep the temp down after I noticed a lot of hot air coming out the back. I have good case cooling with 5 fans in my Sunbeam Transformer case, so this was a suprise. Could be the cover over the card is interfering with my case's airflow.

Other Thoughts: If you are comfortable with the ntune software then the heating problem isn't as bad. Still, the onboard fan should be cooling better without me personally having to adjust it. Would of given it 5 eggs for performance, but the size plus heating dropped it down. 3.5/5

1 out of 5 eggsCard DOA!

Pros: It fit in the PCI Slot and so did the power cables.

Cons: DOA. Plugged it into the Asus P6tT Deluxe motherboard I just received. Everything works but the card. Fan doesn't run and their is no signal to the monitor. I'm very angry. Hope to exchange for the GTX 470 or 480.

1 out of 5 eggsSecond DOA

Pros: Price

Cons: This is the second time this card has come dead, i don't know why. But i'll tell you this, I'm getting a refund and getting another brand instead of a replacement this time.

Other Thoughts: I know that it's not anything else in my system because I stuck another 2.0 x16 card in there and it worked fine, BFG needs more quality control. Just because they have a "quality control" sticker on the card doesn't mean it will work.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice cards!

Pros: Bought two of these, running in SLI. About to upgrade to 480's. The two X 285's have performed flawlessly! Idle about 55 and under load they peak about 88 with max setings on borderlands or Crysis. Performance has been very good.

Cons: BFG seems to be behind the ball on the 400 series Nvidia cards, only con so far is BFG does not have the gtx 480 available for the TradeUp program... only trade up option BFG lists for 285's is to go to a 2gb 285 or to a 295.

Other Thoughts: I've always bought Nvidia and have been very happy, still happy and enjoying some very fun games at amazing frame rates!

5 out of 5 eggsIt does its job pretty well

Pros: It is a very good card. It can play all of my games with good FPS on all high settings. I play BF2, BFBC2, CODMW2,CODWAW, Crysis, Crysis Warhead, and some other games i get from the internet. All run great!

Cons: It is VERY LARGE! its pretty hard to put in my case(Cooler Master Storm or scout or sniper i cant remember) but its pinching a SATA cable but i guess thats ok. It is very pricy to! Wish they would drop the price down.

Other Thoughts: Its a good card i would recomend it. I dont know why all these other people are giving it terrible reviews. They just got really REALLY unlucky

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: price

Cons: DOA, never buy from them, pay a little extra and get EVGA or something.

Other Thoughts: I'll have alot of time to think about how I should have not gone for BFG...
