Pros: dont buy bfg products

Cons: if you have to rma your card good luck they will give you a rma number but wont tell you how long it will take to get a new card back.been waiting over a month they say that they are out of stock

BFG would not honor rebate

Pros: Fast card, relatively quiet, does all I expect.

Cons: BFG would not honor the newegg rebate despite newegg advertising the rebate, etc. They claimed bar code did not match. Also, the card does not work at all if it doesn't get valid EDID info from the monitor (this may be a problem if you use a DVI extender). I was able to solve this with a 3rd party EDID memorizer, but other cards I have used did not have this problem.

Other Thoughts: If you are considering a BFG product, it is probably safer to comparison shop using only the before-rebate price.

Blue Screen Machine

Pros: This is an extremely powerful card that produces beautiful graphics.

Cons: My card has a fault that causes Blue Screen of Deaths roughly every 45 minutes. At this rate, games are unplayable. As this is why I have the card I can’t rate it any higher than one egg. Also, BFG has been slow at exchanging my cards; they take over month from start to finish.

Other Thoughts: I received this card as an RMA replacement for a 9800GX2. It is likely a refurbished card that was not properly repaired.
