3 out of 5 eggsNice while it lasted

Pros: Could play modern games such as Oblivion and even Skyrim

Cons: Died after 4 years of light to moderate use.

Other Thoughts: I use other XFX cards, none have died so far so this individual case is odd. I should also be able to utilize its limited lifetime warranty, but did not register product in time...

Pros: What can i say...gets the DX9 job done and gets it done well...not a single driver issue or otherwise...plays BF2142 at 1280x1024 nearly maxed out at around 45fps...the perfect budget card

Cons: Not DX10...other than that, nothing

Other Thoughts: Upgrading to an 8800GTS and 3.2ghz X2 soon...hooooray Crysis...

5 out of 5 eggsIf on budget, GET IT

Pros: All the reviews and benchmark tests online you'll find about this card all pretty much conclude that for the price range this card is the way to go. I agree. I have CounterStrike Source on 1440:900 resolution with basically maxed out settings and I haven't seen the FPS drop below 60.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for a budget upgrade

Pros: Its CHEAP now! I paid $160 for mine. At the price its at now, its a great deal.
This card also performs quite well. I get a little over 160 fps in CSS video stress test, on high detail, 4x AA, 16xAF, full HDR, 1024x768. Most other games run very nicely on this card, aswell.

Cons: In most games, it cannot render High Dynamic Range Lighting, and Full Screen Anti-Aliasing at the same time. However, this is only a mild problem, unless you plan to play games like Oblivion, however, even if it could run Oblivion with both AA and HDR, the performance would be unplayably poor.

Card does run a bit hot.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind, this card is starting to show its age. Games coming out this year, don't run flawlessly. If your looking to really crank up the screen resolution, on newer games, you might want to look at a bit higher end card(That doesn't necesarily mean newer, just FASTER)

5 out of 5 eggssweet

Pros: This card is awesome! I put it in and it worked right away no muss no fuss. Plays Bioshock on high with 10-20fps on low with 30+ fps, Half-Life 2 max settings 30+ fps,Fear max settings 30+fps, Unreal Tournament 03/04 max settings 50+fps, Vavle stress test 150+ fps, plays all my favorite games like warcraft 3, age of empires 1/2/3, Command and Conquer: renegade all with 60+fps.

It has never failed me in over a year, works great with windows(xp and vista) and linux.

You can even hook it up to your TV with an s-video cable and it still runs fine!

Cons: Its not an 8600gt or direct x ten.

Other Thoughts: Great card, great price, great buy.

Buy it and you will not be dissapointed.

If you have an extra $30-50 but an 8600gt.

Cons: Didn't buy 2

Other Thoughts: This card will not let you down. Ive had it for over a year now, and have had no problem what so ever.
Plays S.T.A.L.K.E.R great on full, along with anything else thrown its way.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card for the money

Pros: Great performance, works perfect, no issues. Inexpensive, best bang-for-buck I found.

Cons: -Fan a little loud, but who really cares?
-No direct x10. but I won't need that for a couple years

Other Thoughts: If your not running vista, don't spend the money on a 8600, put the money here! I did not upgrade my Power Supply, running great on 350watt.

My setup: 3.0 P4 w/HT
3 gb of 533 Ram
XFX GeForce 7600GT
80gb SATA HD w/250 2nd Drive
Dual DVD burners (really only need one!)
22" Wide Screen

My "Value" gamer plays anything I throw at it with highest settings on a large display w/no heat issues, and getting good FPS on.
