5 out of 5 eggsStill good!

Pros: Well, price and performance right off the top of my head. I use Linux most of the time, don't need DX10 and prefer single slot cards. These fit the bill nicely. I have 2 in SLI, they perform very well. I had 2 7900gs cards prior to these..........

Cons: I paid more for my 7900GS cards a year ago than I did for these. That's not a con for these 7950GT's though! I am bummed that there really aren't many of these cards left anymore. They really are decent cards for the money.

Other Thoughts: Foxconn C51XEMAA motherboard, AMD 6400+ Black Edition CPU. XMS 6400C2DHX 2x1GB, Scythe Ninja, 2 7950GT's SLI, PVR-150, F5u602, Riviera 5.1, Raptor 150. Plenty Fast - Ubuntu 7.10 Linux/XP Professional

2 out of 5 eggsXFX - The big rebate liar

Pros: Not a bad video card

Cons: I purchased a different model (XFX PVT71JUHE4 7950GT) seven month ago from XFX. I though I was the only one who got cheated on the rebate, guess I was wrong!! (See previous review post) They will avoid giving you any rebates. I got this e-mail form them after two month I submitted the rebate - "Unfortunately, we were unable to honor your request for the following reason: Your submission was not postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date", I sent out the rebate form after the day I got my video card! (They give you 30 days to submit your rebate). You want to buy any stuff form XFX, good luck to you!!

5 out of 5 eggsVery powerful

Pros: I can play CoD 4 at highest settings without serious loss of FPS. Runs Crysis in medium to high (not shader high) without problems. If it can do this, that says a lot. I mainly use it for gaming so I put a lot of stress on the card without it faulting or giving me problems. It is a great buy for how much memory and memory type for the cost.

Cons: It does get a little hot when running on a full load with the stock fan, but otherwise none.

Other Thoughts: I am running with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400, 3Gb of RAM (mixed brands), Biostar NF520-A2 Mobo, Linkworld ATX12v 630W PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsXFX 7950GT

Pros: This Card Rocks!!! It runs all my games on max resolutions smoothly, including Flight Sim X @ 1680X1050.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these cards to run in SLI. I have not been able to see the results with them in SLI because I found out my mobo only has the option of dual 8x and not dual 16x!!!! I am just running one for now until I get a new mobo.

5 out of 5 eggsA great choice.

Pros: Used in a Linux build. Runs all my native Linux games and programs silky smooth, and runs Windows games under Wine very well.

Cons: No DX10, of course, but I'm a Linux user, so it's not a problem for me.

Other Thoughts: I bought this same card from a friend for $90, and I don't regret it. If you can live without DX10, or are a *nix user, this card is great.

5 out of 5 eggsgood chip set

Pros: Don't own the same card but do have the same chip set and must say that it rocks. Runs Crysis on medium settings and every thing looks great at 1400 x 900.

Cons: Mine can get a little warm.

Other Thoughts: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood Deal

Pros: Nice Card has all that is needed to run games like Oblivion in Very High mode. Great price.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Did a lot or research before I purchased this card and found best bang for the buck. And has SLI. Using E6750 dual core, 2gb ram G.skill, GIGABYTE GA-N650SLI-DS4L board.

3 out of 5 eggsStill Waiting...

Pros: I'm aware that this will be a good card because I had an identical card made by BFG Tech

Cons: I'm still waiting to receive this product...9 days later. They shipped it the day after I ordered it, but 8 days later...my tracking number still says "Billing Information Received". It hasn't even moved from the warehouse yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, price perfect

Pros: This card is a major upgrade from my low end ATI card. I order it from Newegg for Christmas, got it before Christmas. Good shipping as always from Newegg. On top of that it's an XFX which, in my experience, is a great manufacturer.

Cons: None as of now.

Other Thoughts: If you don't have 350 bucks to blow on an 8800 and want to wait until prices drop, this is a great card for you. Good FPS in STALKER and TF2 on an aging processor. I'd say buy this card if you're in the market.
