5 out of 5 eggsSweet Card

Pros: Incredible performance for the price. 100-200 FPS in CS:S (depending on the map) with maxed everything, 60+ FPS in FEAR with maxed EVERYTHING, just incredible. A lot of overclocking headroom, I've pushed this card pretty far past stock speeds (540/750) on stock cooling.

Cons: The only thing I can complain about is the stock cooling. Because it is a single-slot card, the cooling system doesn't expel the hot air it produces out of the case. Not necessarily an issue if you don't plan on overclocking. Using ATItool and other temperature software programs, the idle temps of the card vary between 45C and 50C. I know that the card is rated for much higher temps, but this still concerns me that they are this high at idle. Temps have not affected performance in any way, just that I'm just overprotective of my hardware :D

Other Thoughts: Should note that replacing the stock cooler and even putting on Arctic Silver 5 voids the warranty. Just FYI. Other than that, the card really rocks. Solid performance for a pretty fair price. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 eggsmad card

Pros: really, really good. two in SLI, nothing can get in your way. haven't found a game that i can't play without highest graphics. amazing. stay nice and cool. idle 45 C, 60 C while gaming.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: definitely the best bang for buck. even after a year, there's still nothing worthy of upgrading to.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the money

Pros: so far its a great improvement over my 9800 pro. Makes my COD2 look like a new game. I can finally play it in DX9 instead of DX7. cannot hear the fan unlike other reviews.

Cons: I want another for my sli.

Other Thoughts: Hope the price drops with the new cards coming out so I can get another.

3 out of 5 eggsFan Always on High

Pros: Seems to work but did not have a chance to test it.

Cons: Fan is too loud. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Will not throttle down with any 3rd party software or BIOS updates. Contacted XFX tech support and their solutions did not work either. Beware, this fan speed problem seems to be inherent to nVidia 7900s from what I found on the web. Hardware will not allow control of fan speed.

Other Thoughts: Newegg service is excellent. Unfortunately I had to RMA the card because of the loud noise.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive upgrade for the great performance it gives. At first I thought the fan was loud but the noise turned out to be the PSU dying.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card!

Pros: I absolutely love this card. I upgraded from a borrowed 7600GT, and the difference is pretty considerable. Right now, I've got this sucker overclocked to 521/1500! I actually had it higher stable, but brought it down for longevity's sake.

Cons: None thus far, aside from my Ultra MicroFly not liking that metal strip on top of the card. I had to leave a nice scratch on the finish of it to get it in.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Runs all my games near or around max settings. Not to big. Excellent performance for the price.

Cons: Doesn't walk my dog.

Other Thoughts: Can't wait to get another for SLI.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: This card is very fast, probably the best in this price range. It pushes all of my games without any problems. The card looks cool, has good cooling, and overclocks easily. This was huge upgrade from my X850 Pro.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to the guy below who's rating his "Vista experience". He obviously has other problems or doesn't know what he's doing.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as advertised

Pros: Inexpensive, runs Vista just fine for me(4.5 on the scale), quiet.

Cons: Memory and core clock no where near what it says it should be, getting 30-60 FPS in WoW and 60-70 in CS:Source. Can't play BF2 on High at all.

Other Thoughts: Probably not going to buy another XFX product ever and will be purchasing another video card from a another maker like eVGA or BFG.

3 out of 5 eggsNot what's expected

Pros: Looks pretty, quiet (for me), inexpensive, and made my Vista system rating jump from 3.0 to 4.5.

Cons: Shipping from both NewEgg and UPS took longer than expected (3 day shipping became 5 days). No email of confirmation or tracking ever given. Card will not play BF2 at high settings. Gets 30-50fps in WoW. 6600GT played better.

Other Thoughts: I'm running AMD 64 X2 4200+, 2GB PC2-4200 DDR2, Nvidia 7900GT, 320GB SATA. I know it's not the machine...will probably switch to using another merchant and ATI.
