Pros: Worked well with sli setup. Cheap

Cons: The one card blew out in a year. XFX support is terrible. I started contacting them a month ago and am getting irritated. If i didnt have the other without sli, my computer would be down and i'd be even more furious
Extremely loud.

Other Thoughts: apparently you pay for what you get

5 out of 5 eggsOne year and still good

Pros: Does what I want it to do.

Cons: About the only con which is not a con really, is the rebate never got back to me.

Other Thoughts: I was wanting to upgrade to a 9800gt, but I don't think I will. I am going to wait a year or so and just get a whole new computer. I play BF2 and Call of Duty4 on max settings with this card. I got Crysis and can play on medium with no lag. I play BF2 the most online, so this will be all the card I need.
I am running a Acer ast180 with Vista 32bit, AMD 4400+, 4 gb Gskill, 585 psu, 19" Acer wide screen, Razer DA, Exactmat with rest, cyber snipa game pad,and this XFX 8600gt. My setup runs flawlessly.
New computer with better hardware for me in the future. But for now, I feel not left behind, yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: I have this graphics card for a year now and it has performed fraudlessly, earning a 5.9 on the windows graphics rating.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I am thinking of upgrading my 32-bit vista to 64-bit. Does anybody know whether this card will support the 64-bit OS?

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: This card has low power consumption with no power cable required, is very fast on stock speeds, and a beast at overclocking. I got mine from 620/800 to 770/910 on stock cooling without any problems which is far more than I was expecting. It does run somewhat hot (~80 degrees) at full load, though. No stability problems.

Cons: It is quite loud as other reviewers have said.

Other Thoughts: I get an average of 60 frames per second running both Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4 at 1280x1024 with maximum settings (except for 4x AA and 8x AF) which is better than I was expecting. Definitely a great card easily capable of running any modern game (although for Crysis I'm sure you would need to lower the resolution and other settings a good amount).

5 out of 5 eggsNeed power on a budget?

Pros: Guild Wars - Max settings/res - 60fps Constantly
Warcraft III - Max settings/res - 60fps Constantly
Halo 1 - Max settings/res - 30fps (thats the max for this game)
WoW - Max settings/res - 60fps constantly

The list goes on and on. This card blows games out of the water. I haven't tested it on games like Call of Duty, but I'm positive it would perform admirably. If you need an upgrade from an IGP, or even from the older 6 series, I highly suggest this card.

Cons: Card does get a little hot, mine idles around 55 degrees. I suggest you buy a better than stock cooling system along with this card.

Other Thoughts: The fan noise is nothing, honestly. The fans on your computer case are louder than the one on the XFX.

5 out of 5 eggsBig step up!

Pros: This was definitely a big and noticeable step up from my onboard GMA. The fan runs silent but the card may get hot at times, no big deal since I have an exhaust case fan hanging right above it. Graphics are smooth and excellent.

Cons: NONEE!
