Great Product - Linux Friendly!
- Pros: Fast Card, Decent Memory, Dual DVI/VGA. LINUX FRIENDLY!
- Cons: Runs kind of hot otherwise its quiet.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace an FX5500 AGP and it just blows it away. Great performer. Works great with Linux + nVidia Drivers. Getting widescreen resolutions can be tricky in Linux but it can be done with the correct modeline. (Tested on SuSE 10.2 + Dual 22" LCD via DVI)
Outstanding
- Pros: I can play Battlefield 2, 2142, oblivion, Fable, Call of Duty 2, World of Warcraft all on high video settings with no lag
- Cons: The Fan is little loud.
- Other Thoughts: Running AMD Aflon 64 3200+ 2GB of RAM on a Asus A8V motherboard. With Windows XP

- Pros: Dual DVI, easy installation, low power consumption, runs recent games quite well. Best cost/performance ratio for AGP cards.
- Cons: AGP means it is expensive, especially for old technology.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a 9800 and to add some life to an aging AGP rig. I must say that this card does its job admirably, despite the price. Team Fortress 2 and Portal look excellent, and it can also run the Call of Duty 4 demo with most bells and whistles turned on at a relatively smooth frame rate.
If you have an AGP PC and want to run the upcoming and current hit games without spending an arm and leg on a video card, this is the best bang for your buck.
Nice upgrade
- Pros: Upgraded from GF 5500, what a difference! although the 5500 was pretty good in its time, too. Went right in without a gliche as with most nVIDIA's.
- Cons: $$$ more than I wanted to pay for AGP tech, but with the $20 rebate & performance boost to my aging system, I don't feel like I wasted money. XP sucks with it's 3 day reactivation though.
- Other Thoughts: I recently built a new computer for my wife with a GF 7900GS PCIX. This card saved her from me swapping computers with her!
Good AGP card for moderate system
- Pros: As usual Newegg shipping rocks! Card was packaged good, everything was there. Graphics are good, power consumption isn't too bad and the cards temps are very consistent. Good step up from my 6600 gt card, and not so overpowered as to outrun the rest of my old 2.8 pentium system.
- Cons: Didn't come with a game...
- Other Thoughts: Good AGP card for a decent price. I really wanted an 1950 pro.... But it would have been overkill for the rest of my dated system.
