5 out of 5 eggsJust WOW

Pros: runs really good i max out settings on all games just to test and it handles it like nothing of course i change some of the setting to low because there's no need to run the card with everything maxed out since a lot of the things like smoke in a racing games is kinda pointless unless you like that anyways i run crysis wars on it settings maxed out and almost no lag if there is any its from explosions

Cons: it does get a little hot so make sure you have a good ventilation setup in your pc but what card doesn't get hot

Other Thoughts: i'm running it in an older dell optiplex which to my surprise has an express slot with this card a Pentium duel core 1.6GHz and 2.5gb ddr2 memory and i run newer games with no problem. I know this card is out of stock but if you run across one and want to get it then do so and dont think twice you will be amazed

4 out of 5 eggsGood card overall

Pros: This card is really good if you just want a card that can run many games to date, on lower settings. L4d runs well on it with medium to lower settings.

Cons: None really for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good little card

Pros: I've been running this little 8600 GT for a few months now and I have no complaints at this price. It was a hold me over card until I decided to order another which I just did today. I played COD4 allot at about 50 - 120 FPS at normal settings with 2x AA pretty decent for a budget gamer who knows how to tweak driver settings, etc to get your games looking right. But remember... it is 128 bit GDDR2... not DDR3 so if this is important to you, factor that in. I usually finished COD4 Mult-iplayer maps in the top 3 or so with is little card so it was all good to me. $69 bucks well spent.

Pretty good quality with watching dvd's and videos on a 22" lcd, card also handled Vista Ultimate 64 bit pretty decently, I have no complaints all my windows responded nicely and looked good so if that's what your into this card will improve vista appearance for you on-board video users.

Cons: 128 - Bit GDDR2

Other Thoughts: Like i said, pretty good little card, and with a lifetime warranty it is a good buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: This card turned a cheap computer into a medium end gaming machine! Runs the newest games without any glitches on a medium setting. For less than 70.00 bucks what else can you say! Newegg's superfast shipping you can't go wrong. NewEgg Rocks!

Cons: None, plugged right in and Windows detected it. I didn't even have to change anything in BIOS. No Cons!

Other Thoughts: Newegg needs more T-shirts like the ones you gave out at Quakecon 3 or 4 years ago. I wore mine out finally!

5 out of 5 eggsQuality Card, Good Price.

Pros: Good solid card, doesn't get too hot in my system. Nice for those on a budget. I like Nvidia's program for overclocking, it installs right in the Nvidia settings menu, and provides a way to overclock without other unneeded programs.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Have two of these running in sli with my amd athlon 7750 and 4 gigs of ram. Get 5.6 for gaming and 6.5 for desktop graphics in Windows Experience Index in Windows 7.

4 out of 5 eggsDo not count on getting the rebate

Pros: The product works fine.

Cons: You will not get the rebate. I went to the online system and it said: "Due to updated information, a new submission may have been created. Click Back or New Search to view or locate the new record. If you are unable to locate the new record, contact Customer Service using the link below." There is no other record for me. The email didn't get a response and the phone number dumps to a recorded message.

Other Thoughts: I think a Better Business Bureau complaint is in order... Purchased on 10/14/2008, sent out the rebate within 1 week of the order.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Video Card - XFX NVIDIA GeForce 512MB

Pros: Excellent card for the price, performance good for basic to moderate gaming, stays cool for a little bit, easy to install and easy to find drivers for.

Cons: Noise levels are somewhat high.

Other Thoughts: CAUTION: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR VIDEO CARD DRIVERS THROUGH MICROSOFT WINDOWS UPDATE!!! ALWAYS GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER'S SITE TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST DRIVERS (ATI, NVIDIA). IGNORE WINDOWS UPDATE!!! IT IS SEEMINGLY HARMLESS, BUT WHEN YOU BOOT THE COMPUTER AFTER THAT UPDATE, YOU WILL NOT HAVE A DISPLAY LEFT, OR YOUR CARD WILL CATCH FIRE!!! DO NOT USE WINDOWS UPDATE TO UPDATE TO UPDATE DRIVERS!!!

Excellent card for the price. I do basic to moderate gaming, so this card is definitely way more than I need, but it performs well and it was easy to install and find drivers for. The downside is that there is some noise and the card gets somewhat hot, but besides that, it is an excellent choice for me!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value/performance

Pros: Perfect combination of price, performance and size. Works very well as a moderate gaming or Htpc gpu. Can run most newer games at medium-high to high settings and does not require a monster psu, fan is quiet enough not to overpower a stock cpu fan (around 22db under load) Overall a great value.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Have had this gpu installed since 5/08 without any problems, am considering putting two in SLI to give a little better cpu and gpu load share after installing a bluray drive.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!!

Pros: Installed without a hitch in my Dell Optiplex GX620. Fit in nicely next to the CPU cooling enclosure.

Just got the PC to run WoW and a few older games and it does it just fine but not on max settings with 1200x1024 resolution.

Cons: Can't max out video settings but I didn't expect to with this model card.

Other Thoughts: I installed the coolbits registry mod to let me overclock it and with the auto overclock option I got BSOD. I manually bumped it by 10(GPU) and about 7(VRAM) I think and it ran fine. Still need to test more to see if I get a FPS increase or not.
