5 out of 5 eggsSad

Pros: Graphics speed and overall textures great, even on current games. I play WoW and get ultra settings with no lag...

Cons: Have had the card for a few years... Had to send it in to XFX for RMA this week.. Not really a con.. been a great card!

Other Thoughts: Been a loyal XFX user for years, sad to see my Alpha Dog be laid to rest... Hope the replacement card is just as good...

5 out of 5 eggsSick Card

Pros: This card is just completely amazing.
I was never an nVIDIA fan, but the Alpha Dog just made me one.
It plays Crysis at approximately 30fps on all max settings, 1024x768, 2xAA on DX10/Vista, and that's with other programs running in the background.
On DX9 at all high with hacked cvars, I was able to pull between 30-37 fps.
It's just a nice card.
HL2 plays well over 100fps, though I don't know how much for sure, I'm guessing over 200.

Cons: My Ultra X2 550W power supply couldn't take the draw from the card, even though both 12V rails are good for 18A or so, and it created the horrible "Bios Checksum Error" on my Asus A8N32-SLI mobo.

Other Thoughts: I don't care that the card is power hungry, it's well worth it. My computer still runs really fast. I was worried that the old-school socket 939 AMD X2 4200+ would be a huge bottleneck, which it might be, but I was aiming to play Crysis maxed out, and it does that very well. I love this card. Also, you may not know this, but with an overclock of 28MHz on the core, (678MHz), it is faster than both the 9800GTX and the 8800 Ultra. For the price, you can't be beat. It's the 2nd or 3rd fastest card on the market pretty much...

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Very Good card, works great with Call of Duty 4.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Im not sure what different companies like EVGA and XFX offer besides the warrenties and the stickers for these Nvidia cards. I originally thought that perhaps they design some of the compenents such as the cooling for the cards, but peeling the cool looking stickers away proves this theory wronge, revealing the original Nvidia stickers....

1 out of 5 eggs18 Months

Pros: Good card while it lasted.

Cons: Died after 18 months. Cost me a fortune back then. No warranty for cards past 1 year so I got stuck buying a new card, from a different manufacturer of course. I didn't overclock at all and I'm only running a single monitor. With no abuse whatsoever these cards should last a lot longer than 18 months.

Other Thoughts: No longer a fan of xfx.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent GPU

Pros: Pros. Well let see, i can run COD4 on a samsung 19 wide on 1440x900 on max settings at 120 fps average, Counter Strike Source with Max setting also. Amazingly this grahics card has never gotten hotter then 56C thats impressive for a gpu. Also never have had any overheating or artifacts. runs smoothly no jerking or drop in frame rates. COMES WITH A DOUBLE LIFETIME WARRANTY. AS LONG AS U OWN IT AND I DIES U GET A FREEEE REPLACEMENT. AND IF U SELL IT SO DOES THE 2ND OWNER. So from that u can tell that with a lifetime warrnty ur getting a good gpu. Also much better then the first 8800s they made this is the g92 with 128 stream processors. In my opinion its better then the 9 series gpus excpet the 9 series gtx.

Cons: Kinda bulky and slightly awkward to put in no big deal tho. your case needs to be big enough, my old case was to small so i got an excuse to get another one, but the graphics card was less then 3/4 of an inch from the hdd sata connector. NOt much of a con i got a case thats at least 20 inches deep.
Apevia x cruiser.

Other Thoughts: The ad says that u get a free copy of COD4. Well after getting it there was only Company of Heroes. A quick call to xfx and they asked me for a copy of the recpiet or just to forward the email of the invoice and they would imediatley send over a free copy. In less then a week i was playing COD4.

PLUS U GET LIFETIME WARRANTY WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!

Pros: Awesome DX10 performance for the price! Runs quite cool and "CoveTroll" you can SLi these, i am. I get around 20 fps in crysis with one card and 30+ with them in SLi. Runs UT3 at max gfx perfectly.

Cons: WHERES MY COD 4?!

Other Thoughts: I love the card, but srsly newegg... wheres the COD 4. i keep getting the run around when i ask for it "register your card" n stuff...

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a differenc

Pros: I immedeately saw the detail improvement on my dual Acer X223W, 24" (monitors. I was using Slied GeForce 8600 GTS cards (purchased at Newegg.) I was very satisfied with them but wanted to use dual monitors so I needed a more powerful card to get the same performance with a single card an dual monitors. The detail is astonishing, havnt tried it with my Delta Force games yet.

Cons: can't Sli with two of these cards.

5 out of 5 eggsBlazing

Pros: This Card Is Amazing Runs Every Thing I Throw at it (Havent Tried Crysis yet)
Runs 2 Copies Of World Of Warcraft with high settings (Windowed Mode) at 60 - 70 FPS

Cons: Wish I had Bought it from newegg....
Bought it from Tiger Direct Cause they had a rebate...
Still waiting on rebate or and answer to my emails about it coming with Company of heroes rather than CoD4 been 4 months now still no word

Other Thoughts: XFX customer Support is top notch will buy their products in the future
