Pros: This card is absolutely amazing period. xfx and other companies make other overclocked cards that are gx2 but to be quite honest this card on air is very overclockable ( mine is running at 730/1800/1106.....again this is on air...not even a 3party cooler. The card also vents out alot of the air through the the dual exaust vents. This card is silent! I thought it would be alot louder while idle but my liquid cooling system is louder than this card....and my pc is very quiet. When you up the fans to about 80 then can you hear the fans.....
Cons: People complain about the size......Its a video card that is two in one card...its going to be big. If you do not have a large case then you might have problems fitting the card in. even with my full tower lcs armor case i could see how people could have problems fitting it in. I cannot really complain about the size however ( If you are a serious computer enthusiast or graphic designer it is just common sense to have a full tower case for add-ons.) I couldn't understand if you knew what this card is and had the money for this card why you wouldn't have a full tower case.
Other Thoughts: Most likely if you are upgrading to this card you will need a new power supply with an 8pin connector. There is no getting around this you can use two molex connectors and use the molex to 8 pin adapter but unless you have extra molexes just laying around then get a new psu. I want to say you need at least an 850 watt psu but to be quite honest you could run this card with anything 600 and above...under load this thing on my pc only uses like 375 watts with all my other pc stuff included too. Get a name brand psu or even a logisys psu (the green 650 one).

armor lcs fultower, asus p5nd sli motherboard, thermaltake 850w toughpower, (non modular) ( I also used the 650 logisys psu it works fine in my apevia case) Liquid cooling system (lcs) 25 cm side fan

Pros: Just completed a build using this today and I am quite impressed. Graphic performance like I've never seen before.
Cons: This thing is the size of a Buick. While that may not be a con per say, just be aware. It fit into my Antec Nine hundred case but I could easily see there being trouble in smaller cases.
Other Thoughts: My rig: Antec Nine Hundred Case, AMD Phenom 9950 Quad core CPU, Zallman CPU Cooler, Biostar TForce T8200 MoBo, GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB, NeoPower 650w PSU, 8GB OCZ Platinum DDR2 SDRAM, Western Digital 640GB HDD, Samsung DVD/R

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Great graphics, while running games on 2560x1600 resolution on a 30 inch Widescreen monitor. Additionally, I like the card enough to buy another one 4 weeks later for SLI. The SLI runs just as well as running one card. Moreover, I'm running Age of Conan at 2560x1600 EVERYTHING MAXED OUT with EVERYTHING turned on and getting 40-50 FPS.
Cons: Drivers are still premature (June 5th, 2008 Ver. 175.16); however, the computer runs smooth for the most part, but still has some hicups on the graphical end. In my opinion, these problems will be fixed in the next couple updates, because I ran into the same problem when I got the 8800 GTX hot off the shelf.
Other Thoughts: Specs: Vista Ultimate 64-bit, 8GB DDR3 1333mhz Patriot Viper, x2 Raptors Raid 0, x2 XFX 9800 GX2 SLI, Motherboard XFX 790i Ultra SLI, 1200 Watt Coolmax PSU, Intel Q9450 2.66 @ 3.2, Zalmen Reservator XT Water Cooling

If you want the best, I would go with this card. I'm running two of them as I said in SLI and I don't regret buying them one bit.
