1 out of 5 eggsDecent card horrible company

Pros: Good stats, will compare to even some of the gtx 300 series.

Cons: Their customer service and warranty is N/A on a scale rating.I had to rma both of my cards a month and a half before there 2yr warranty was up, and it took me 7 months to complete it! Not only did XFX not want to honer my warranty at first, but XFX also give me the hardest time you could imagine. Once XFX did accept the rma, they tried to give me a single card for my two cards. This card wasn't comparable to the( 2 )9800GX2s i sent them and wouldn't agree to the fact that I sent them 2 cards and that I should receive 2 in return. After 1 month of arguing that fact and threatening small claims court they sent me 2 gtx275s .Which I promptly sold and now own 2 gtx 460s by Evga.If I Ever come across a company who swindles them, thinks their customer is an idiot and treats them like one again, Ill make sure to contact the BBB with a formal complaint.

As far as new eggs for Newegg, they get 5 their shipping is fast, support is amazing and I have never had any issue with them. Keep it up

Other Thoughts: Ill never shop XFX again. It should never take 4 months of them telling you that your receipt inst valid before realizing it is. Another 2 months of them finally accepting the rma and a month of them practically calling you an idiot.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the Greatest

Pros: Plays most games on highest settings, Crysis only ran on high with DX10 and no AA.

Cons: The title for this card is wrong. It is not a 512-bit card. It is really 2 cards with a 256-bit bus each. I RMA'd the card and plan to buy two cards with higher bus widths.

Other Thoughts: Make sure your case has good airflow. This card is very hot. Understandable because its two gpu cards in one case.

1 out of 5 eggs790i ultra a bad idea?

Pros: Better than the $35 card next to it when it works.

Cons: *never* worked right on my xfx 790i ultra board. From the first day I got random lockups and blanked out screens without lockups. Finally it died completely...I never overclocked or modified the unit at all, and there was zero display. I sent both board and vid card back to xfx and they said they'd send me a different card that would match the power supply 6+2 connectors on my Antec 850. They also said they'd send back all my MoBo junk that I sent with it. I got the same card and I never saw a cable again. They swear it works fine, My system locks when I enable dual gpu (from my cheap ATI card's display because the xfx doesn't work). Updated BIOS, updated drivers, utterly useless. For a while I got it to work by installing my ATI card in the #1 slot and then disabling it, then installing this card in the #3 slot and using the secondary video port (not the primary, it won't output). I tried to enable dual GPU's again today. Now it's a brick. Not buying XFX again.

Other Thoughts: Might be a chipset issue (seen non-specific comments online about it, nothing on nvidia or xfx's sites), but I don't have the cash to buy another board "just to try". Might be all sorts of other hardware issues, but I can't just blow another $3k on a system for troubleshooting. I live in a small town and don't know anyone with a system similar enough to swap parts, and was counting on XFX's reputation and support. Didn't get it, won't step out of the box again.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm Gaming DO NOT DISTURB!

Pros: Fast, looks great, keeps cool for the processes it does.

Cons: BIG, Requires a lot of power, won't fit into small cases.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have your BIOS updated, I'm serious, also make sure you have a PSU that can output 580 watts and make sure you have the 8 pin and 6 pin PCI express cables for the thing itself. Have fun!

4 out of 5 eggsGood cards

Pros: Fast, even faster in Quad-SLI. Not much to say, its a video card and it works. CoD4 at max settings, wow at max settings, Crysis on high....

Cons: Card fans run at 40% by default, have had mine overheat to 212'F+ twice now. Have to manually turn up to 100% due to NVidia software sucking.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This card is incredibly fast! Runs quick and smooth and much cooler than the original G80 core series cards. Was able to turn the fan up even more to cool even better. Card can run age of conan on High settings, with the 3.0 shader at 1680 x 1050 without any problems, usually averaging 50+ frames! Uses less power than the 8800 Ultra which is great as well!

Cons: Very large, but you should know that if you're buying it!

Other Thoughts: ASUS Crosshair, AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+, 2GB Corsair Dominator, 850 Watt Thermaltake Toughpower, 2 150GB WD Raptors (Raid 0), XFX Geforce 9800 GX2 XXX.

5 out of 5 eggsFor SLI not slick enough

Pros: For the guy saying he bought 3 for tri-SLI. You can't run 3 dual gpu cards SLI. Running 2 is called quad SLI, the best you can do. Same applies for the ATI 3870X2. If you want to run 3 cards you need single gpu cards.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: None
