Rating: 5/5Good pick
Pros: Works like a charm!
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I have a Dell Dimension 4700. The power supply does not put out much power. I wanted to upgrade the video card, but most of the new video cards need much more power than my Dell can handle. This card is powered by the PCIE bus. Haven't had one problem since installation. It is very fast and powerful!

Rating: 3/5NOT low profile
Pros: Good graphics card, attractive price.
Cons: It is NOT a low-profile card, never mind that it claims to be so in the picture NewEgg has attached to it. It is not even "low-profile ready," as the connections would take up too much room even in a reduced-size bracket. (I have alerted customer service to this error.)
Other Thoughts: I now have loose connections hanging out the back of a slimline HP box, which is the only way I could get it to work. On the bright side, the SeaSonic power supply I bought to go with it is doing fine.

Rating: 5/5Eggcellent Card
Pros: Can't go wrong with this card. Put my older 9500GT in my wife's computer when her onboard video stopped working. Still running great after 2 years. I expect the same longevity from this card also. Registration was easy with XFX. To answer the question about the personal identification code. I got tripped up on that one also. XFX resolved the issue very quickly. The code is only necessary for those who bought the card bundled with game software. The serial number registers the card. Card runs very cool with Riva Tuner setting the fan speed at 100%. Have never overclocked the card so I can't speak to that.
Cons: None

Rating: 3/5Not for OLD TV's
Pros: Card installed in an old HP desktop, barely clearing the above mounted pci-e tuner card, just as the GT8400 card had. The digital output worked fine.
Cons: The s-video connection would not detect my OLD Sony Tritron TV, requiring a manual configure every time computer was booted.
Other Thoughts: While the previous generation of 8x00 nvidia cards (as in 8400GT, 8500GT) do detect my old analog TV via an s-video->composite cable for cloning, this card would not. I tried every driver, starting from the most recent, back to what worked with the 8400GT. All drivers failed to detect the TV, thus requiring a manual clone setup every time computer rebooted. The previous generation of cards would detect the TV and keep the clone setup between reboots.
Granted, given all the user comments about the useless s-video connector, I'm a MINORITY, but that old 32" Sony keeps going and no need to jettison just yet.
So, the digital output worked fine, it's just that the card did not do what I needed it to do.
Windows Vista x32, with Windows Media Center connected to Sony analog TV and Windows Home Server.

Rating: 3/5Not really terrible.
Pros: It costs 65$, and it works well for DVDs and Netflix.
Cons: Runs hot when my screen saver kicks in, crashes causing BSOD or system lockups when running 3D intensive games, some more than others.
Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this card for gaming, but for web-surfing and video it's cheap and works.

Rating: 5/5Great card
Pros: Great card, pleased with performance so far
Cons: This is not really a con for the card but the process to get the drivers. The CD that comes with the card is better used as a coaster. To get the drivers online from XFX you have to register the product & enter a personal access code which is in the box. This code looks like something you would have to enter to authenticate Windows. What's up with that!
