5 out of 5 eggsWOW

Pros: Amazing card, great fps with all games on high. What most people do not understand is that this card is meant for settings like AA and AF. It is NOT meant to give enormously high fps. For example, in COD4 with all settings at the minimum, I got the same fps average as all settings at the maximum. The card runs hot, but you can fix that in the nvidia control panel. This is a large card, you may have to move things to get it to fit, but it is a beast.

Cons: none, other than size and heat at stock fan speeds.

Other Thoughts: amazing card, upgraded from 8600gt :).

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

Pros: - Cheap GTX 260 Core 216
- XFX Lifetime Warranty
- Far Cry 2 + Batman: Dark Asylum Included
- 3DMark Vantage Advanced Edition Included
- It Runs Extremely Quiet + Cool/ Idle: ~40C

Cons: - None At All
- Wish I Could Get Two!

Other Thoughts: I'm telling you, for now, this the best GTX 260 on NewEgg right now to buy!

4 out of 5 eggsmade a mistake

Pros: have used 260 216's for over a year now, there a very powerful card that wont break the bank.

this XFX ED looks very cool and runs about avg for a 260.

comes with more extra stuff than other packages.

Cons: SLI on crossfire patches do exists but have been banned and made illegal by Nvidia.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these and didn't realize that my MOBO was XFIRE only.

Some people think this card runs hot but its designed to run at around 80C - 90C

also this is a very stable card that gives a stable fps rate rather than jumping from 80billion FPS - 5FPS lol

happy gaming

5 out of 5 eggsSolid card

Pros: I have the 65mn card and am very happy with it. It runs HOT if you don't take steps to cool it. Duh.
I do NOT have electronic noise emitting from it as others have reported.
The two games that came with it run in the highest settings with no problems.
It was a tight fit in my full tower COOLER MASTER Centurion 532 RC-532-SKN1 case, but It did fit.
This card replaced a pair of Nvidia 9670 cards on an Nvidia board. A huge improvement.

Cons: Thanks to all you noise complainers the card overheats because the fans won't kick in until it gets really hot. (you know who you (nee noo heads) are). The term “Overheats” is of course subjective and yes I do blame the whiners.

Other Thoughts: If you have the space, this card is the best for your money. Buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

Pros: Best card ever for the price. You cannot imagine the performance you get for 200$, it will run any game on max settings with high frame rates.

Cons: Barely audible noise coming from the capacitors right when you get the card, so use it for some time and it will go away.

Other Thoughts: 55nm = less heat and less power consumption and overclocks better.

5 out of 5 eggsPure Win

Pros: Huge improvement over my 8600gt..duh haha
Runs any game i have now at maximum settings
Fan is nearly silent..but with 6, 5k rpm fans..a lot is nearly silent

Cons: automatic nvidia control panel fan control keeps the gpu at a toasty 74C under load which is a little too warm for me. i keep the fan under direct control at about 80% keeps the gpu about 56C under load which is much cooler.
i was suprised how hot the plastic of the casing got on the gpu

Other Thoughts: i dont have the capicitor squeal that other users reported so far so good

4 out of 5 eggsXFX GTX 260 - Solid Choice

Pros: This card was a great choice for my new system build.

XFX's packaging was well done. The card was secured very well, and the box did a good job of letting me know what was inside.

Coming from a 256mb Radeon 9600 this card is a HUGE HUGE difference. It is pretty quiet, even under full load.

It plays World of Warcraft, CoD: WaW, Far Cry 2, Elder Scroll's 4: Oblivion, and Empire: Total War flawlessly at max settings and with 4x AA/16 AF

When I purchased it I received a free copy of Far Cry 2 and Call of Duty: World at War, not a bad deal at all :)

Cons: There is a bit of capacitor squeal when I am sitting at a game menu, but it doesn't really bother me much.

Other Thoughts: I have been very impressed with this card, and I would definitely recommend it to others. Two thumbs up.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Upgrade

Pros: great card coming from a dual 8800 gt oc system to this no squealing or odd sounds from mine. could be lucky runs all my games almost maxed out except crysis but my 8800 gt oc couldn't do that so not too worried.

Cons: a little on the big side and power hungry 2 6 pins a little much but knew that when i bought it.

Other Thoughts: ok this card is great for the price i paid got 3 $50 games with it so i only paid 10 bucks after all the bundled software!

2 out of 5 eggsDidnt last long!

Pros: Nice card overall, if it stayed working. maybe I just got a bad one.

Cons: Died within 2 weeks. Started showing artifacts on screen. And I have great cooling in my rig, Maybe I just got a bad apple. (or egg) hehe. anyway went with an ATI 4890 instead.

Other Thoughts: Sometimes ya just get a faulty card, newegg was great with RMA and shipping as usual 5 eggs for them!
