WOW
- Pros: Amazing card, great fps with all games on high. What most people do not understand is that this card is meant for settings like AA and AF. It is NOT meant to give enormously high fps. For example, in COD4 with all settings at the minimum, I got the same fps average as all settings at the maximum. The card runs hot, but you can fix that in the nvidia control panel. This is a large card, you may have to move things to get it to fit, but it is a beast.
- Cons: none, other than size and heat at stock fan speeds.
- Other Thoughts: amazing card, upgraded from 8600gt :).
Worth Every Penny
- Pros: - Cheap GTX 260 Core 216
- XFX Lifetime Warranty - Far Cry 2 + Batman: Dark Asylum Included - 3DMark Vantage Advanced Edition Included - It Runs Extremely Quiet + Cool/ Idle: ~40C
- Cons: - None At All
- Wish I Could Get Two!
- Other Thoughts: I'm telling you, for now, this the best GTX 260 on NewEgg right now to buy!
made a mistake
- Pros: have used 260 216's for over a year now, there a very powerful card that wont break the bank.
this XFX ED looks very cool and runs about avg for a 260.
comes with more extra stuff than other packages.
- Cons: SLI on crossfire patches do exists but have been banned and made illegal by Nvidia.
- Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these and didn't realize that my MOBO was XFIRE only.
Some people think this card runs hot but its designed to run at around 80C - 90C
also this is a very stable card that gives a stable fps rate rather than jumping from 80billion FPS - 5FPS lol
happy gaming
