Pros: The card does not overheat let's get that straight. If you are new to computers get the nvidia tools and set the fan to 70%. It won't break a sweat past 49 celcius under full load. 2nd if it does your case is the issue. Stop blaming XFX and others for your 35 dollar case. The best ones are the HAF 932 and Antec 1200. I use this with an Anrtec 1200.
Cons: Soon to be replaced by the paper release of Fermi. I had 2 4890 2gb cards for GTAIV and there was a loss of 10 fps under crossfire. This card gets 61 fps in 1680 X 1050 with an AMD 965 with Vista 64 SP2. My son's GTX 295 in the same game is 1.5 fps slower. My single 4890 2gb gets 56.8 fps. The only game that wants more is crysis and it is 3 years old.
Other Thoughts: Unless you are going higher in resolution there is no need to SLI this card. It is a beast. The only game that might push it is Batman in which you should add a physics card like a 9800 GTX. I won't get a 5870 knowing the price will drop after Fermi. I am selling my 4890's. MSI GD70, AMD 965, WD Raptor, 8gb OCZ AMD edition, Vista 64 SP2.

Pros: Finally, Crysis as it should be. No install problems with a mid tower case.
Cons: For me the stock fan speed is too low allowing GPU overheating and crashing while playing games. And I mean every single 3D game I tried. Subtract one egg. But see below.
Other Thoughts: Get "NVIDIA System Tools with ESA Support" from nvidia.com. This is NOT included on the XFX driver disk. The install adds a new section to the Nvidia Control Panel that lets you manually control the fan speed and also overclock the card. For me a fan speed of 70% keeps all games running smoothly without too much fan noise .
Needs a good power supply, 550w minimum. The card uses TWO 6-pin power connections.

Pros: Looks cool. Plays all games maxed. I only have one. Plays crysis warhead fully maxed with 2x AA perfectly. Everything runs beautiful. I am running it on an old system. (e6700, ddr2 800, P965 Chipset) Its a good card. Runs cooler than my X1950XTX that it replaced. First graphic card upgrade for my in 2.7 years.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: (:
