4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good budget card if you can find one.
Can run games at 1920x1080 if you put the settings down to Medium-High with no AA on. Other wise you can run High on lower resolutions. They are also a pretty good overclocker.

Cons: Not a real problem, but the fan profile on this card is set really high. The card does run a little hot, but that is to be expected with this type of cooler.

4 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: Decent card

Cons: Noisy fans

Other Thoughts: I bought two, they have worked for 4 years with no issues - I have yet to replace the thermal paste.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing budget card!

Pros: I owned it for over a year before I sold it. It is still in service. Great overclocker. Performed superbly and reliably on minimal power. With a hefty overclock, it outperformed an HD 4850.

Cons: The fan was a bit loud for my taste when under load.

5 out of 5 eggsBest ever made by AMD/ATI

Pros: Solid as a tank. Used for over 2 years and still runs the latest games on a slow dual core PC. I don't know but this card made me feel like I was running a $300 graphic card. This must have been one of the most sucessful built by AMD/ATI. Still runs like a strong sherman tank on my new upgrade PC.

Cons: Does get a little hot after years of light use. But thats normal. No cons after 2 years of use.

Other Thoughts: If it dies I will certainly replace it. It should not be discontinued.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful and Reliable!

Pros: Long lasting card! I have not had a single hitch in over 2-3 years of owning it! It runs games great! For a 512MB Card, this outperforms some 1GB cards!

Cons: A little outdated now...

Other Thoughts: I have run this card under two different machines. A dual core E5300 pentium HP computer, and my newer AMD Athlon II X4 640! Works great in each!

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good for the money

Pros: Great card, good power altho haven't fully tested the power to the limit as of yet due to under-rated power supply that's now enroute

Cons: Runs a lot hotter @ stock speeds than I like, 57 degrees C @ 100% fan speed. I was checking out the BIOS and I notice it states something along the lines of the power being incorrect - it's burned in like that, what gives??

Other Thoughts: Don't have a whole lot of cash but want something pretty good - this is a great card for the money. I was checking out the BIOS and I notice it states something along the lines of the power being incorrect - it's burned in like that, what gives??

1 out of 5 eggs2nd Dead Card

Pros: Nice card when it works

Cons: This is the second Raadeon HD 4770 that has died on me in less than 4 months, with the first being RMA'd. I will not be purchasing this line again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video card

Pros: Very good video card that runs my games flawlessly. I play a lot of shooters and it runs with 0 stutter. Runs Starcraft 2(beta) at Ultra settings perfectly....I would highly recommend this product!!!

Cons: None that i can think of...other than that its a TAD big. You will need a big case to make room for this.

Other Thoughts: I will definitely buy another one of these in the future to Crossfire to my other card if the need arises.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Card

Pros: The card is quiet. The fan never really spins up to more than 50% unless you manually set it to. Runs most games on high graphics and runs pretty cool out of the box.

- Double lifetime warranty adds resale value and peace of mind

Cons: When I bought mine it had this weird issue where the fan would spin up and down over and over while not gaming. I fixed this by setting the fan manually using Catalyst Control Center overdrive options.

Other Thoughts: Core i5 750
Gigabyte P55 UD3R
4GB DDR3 1600
XFX 4770
320GB WD IDE

2 out of 5 eggsReally Making Me Angry

Pros: When it chooses to send signal to the monitor it works really great.

Plays games on pretty high settings and the overclocking potential is great (haven't overclocked mine yet). Easy to install and quiet. I didn't have to get the new bios.

Cons: This thing is really making me mad. I am using the most current 10.6 catalyst drivers and for some crazy reason, sometimes (most of the time) the video card will not send signal to my monitor..... The monitor just cycles through input methods. When I plug the monitor into my other video card on my laptop, the monitor comes right on so I know it is this video card....

I have talked to XFX customer support and they really wasn't any help. Told me everything I already knew. But yeah, I have to go through SEVERAL reboots (the wrong way) and I am scared of messing up my HDD because of this. I'm really upset with this purchase. Next time, I may just have to go with Nvidia... I like ATI and XFX used to be a good brand but this is ruining it for me once and for all. We shall see what happens.... Hopefully it's just a drivers issue.

Other Thoughts: Get this card only if your fine with possibly having to troubleshoot your brains out and possibly send it for a replacement. If you don't have time to waste, maybe look elsewhere??
