SA-WEET!
- Pros: - Liked the first one so much I bought a 2nd for Crossfire. Easy to install for Crossfire. Plug it into a crossfire compatible mobo (I'm using Gigabyte MA785G), load drivers, run ATI Catalyst for auto tune of crossfire boards.
- I can turn on all graphics setting to HIGH, AA, shadows, you name it. It's SWEET! -
- Cons: -Fan is loud at 50% setting or higher but it never goes there. I'm using a CM Storm Scout with 5 fans and these cards never have to kick there own fans past 30%.
- Other Thoughts: - Ran a couple of benchmarks in Crossfire:
-WEI doesn't recognize any increase in score for crossfire. That worried me until I ran others. Chalk it up to microsoft for that one. - 3DMark06 increased almost 40% over single card. - World in Conflict bench mark went from 22fps to 44fps all at maxed settings. - I'm very happy with this card and highly recommend it!
Loud!
- Pros: It works as advertised. Good bang for the buck.
- Cons: This card is LOUD!!!!. Not just loud, but crazy loud. On the auto setting the fan ramps up and down based on the load to the GPU. It's not just the noise level, but the sound itself which is tinny and painful to listen to. Very annoying, so much so that I took it out and put my HD4650 back in.
- Other Thoughts: This card is fine if you're using noise cancelling headphones or with speakers cranked, otherwise keep looking.
- Pros: It's a decent card for the money, plays MWf2 on high settings
- Cons: Its kinda loud, and big
