4 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: easy install, inexpensive, dual dvi, small size, quiet, low power use

Cons: (linux specific) - despite prior knowledge of ATI incompatibilities, decided to try - fglrx driver buggy and dual monitor setup with catalyst required rebooting. Tried restarting X, rmmod, etc. but ended up with hung display. Went with radeon drivers and all is well. No xinerama composite with fglrx, though this seems to be a software issue. Both gnome compix and kde work fine with xinerama and radeon driver.

Occasional 2nd display corruption, though not sure if this is due to dual monitor setup (monitors are not the same hardware)

Other Thoughts: decidedly not a gamer. for 2d graphics and casual 3d (blender, google earth, etc) graphics, radeon drivers are more than adequate.

would go nvidia if video accel. or more 3d needed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Much better then stock hp. Working great. For the money product is good. I am able to play bf2 now. I did upgrade power suppy and ram at same time. So pc is night and day different. Fan is quiet.

Cons: Install of drivers not so easy.

5 out of 5 eggsgood little card so far

Pros: installed on a Nvidia northbridge mobo without any problems. took my gaming rating on Win 7 from a 2.9 to a 6.5. plays WoW with video settings set one below ultra at 40-45 fps so im not gonna complain at all. oh and it was reletivly low cost too

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: this is only the 3 computer ive built in the past coupla years and its kinda a buddget build. when the on board nvidia chips set just wouldent cut it i opted for this card and it really did a good job given the cost and ease of install

4 out of 5 eggsits nice

Pros: - 1gb Memory, 128bit, PCI 2.0x16
- Does not require 400watt psu as newegg noted (card does NOT use the 6pin ps)
- Heavy in Hand, Doesnt feel cheap
- 2 DVI Ports
- Fan Operating Correctly in Auto unlike some other mfg
- Fan Noise, I dont hear it (or pretty much use to them)
- Price, 54.99-15.00 MIR = 39.99

Cons: - Useless S-Video Out Port (seriously, useless)
- No HDMI Port
- Slower DDR2 Memory (but price wise worth it)
- Installation of Drivers was Brutal, 3-5 different mini installs, typical of ati/amd
- Would recommend choosing another card for those who are heavy gamers

Other Thoughts: - Replaces a older 64bit 512mb Card on a p4-3.4ghz,2gb
- Primary use for h.264 720p video viewing, ran 4 instances of clips w/ no prob
- Not a game player, ppl might want to pickup a card with PCI-Express Connector 6pin for overclocking
as Card might not have enough juice for what you want done., Also this card isnt crossfire capable

final word
- Pretty much happy for what I was looking for, 2 dvi ports, 128bit w/ 1gb ram for 40 bucks
- Heavy Gamers go elsewhere, probably not the card your looking for, prob more suitable for biz environment
- in use for approx 2 days, hope it dont knonk out, hope rebate goes thru

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the price.

Pros: Great value card

Cons: cheesey fan.

Other Thoughts: fan started making the screaming death rattle 6 months after i got it(my comp runs 24/7). if i tap it it stops. i have ordered a Zalman sink to put on here. keep this in mind when ordering this card.

5 out of 5 eggsNice replacement card

Pros: Bought this to replace a now dead Nvidia quadro card for my xw4400. The computer is primarily used for video trans coding and office work, so this card has never been used for gaming(par from solitaire and sudoku). Great bang for the buck card if you need a replacement for aging hardware or require a second card for a quad monitor setup.

Cons: The only nag I have about the product was the registration process for the card. Inside the box is a code and to download the newest drivers from their site it requires you to enter this giant code in order to get up to date drivers from their website. That's not what I call customer service.

Other Thoughts: Runs 2x 19" @ 1280x1024 over DVI. No screen tearing or artefact's.Quiet compared to old quadro card but not silent. Also works with many popular software titles for GPGPU.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the best card

Pros: Videos on Hulu load faster and run smoother.

Cons: Card arrived in a box that looked used. All the documents were for Vista. No improvement in video playback quality. My MSI motherboard's video is the same quality as this card.

Other Thoughts: I spent $65 and gained faster download speeds. You get what you pay for!

5 out of 5 eggsThis things a beast.

Pros: Though I no longer own this card, when I did have it, it was an amazing little card. It pretty much took everything that I threw at it. It played Bioshock on high settings and was able to handle Crysis at medium. As well, it was capable playing any HD movie I could get. So for any one thats looking for a heck of a deal with performance, get this graphix card.

Cons: It couldnt go and get me a soda.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Performance/Price

Pros: - 2 DVI ports with digital out.
- Plays glitchless AVCHD recordings.
- Low price
- Handles Sims 3 well.
- Thin (1-slot)
- No additional power connection.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I don't game with my PC very much anymore so I can't really tell you how this card will fare with the latest games, but I do think this card is probably the best deal if you're looking to conduct everyday tasks and have dual monitor support.
