1 out of 5 eggs99 Problems...

Pros: When it works, it works well.

Cons: First off, the card is beefy. I mean, real beefy. Sadly, I don't have the space for a card of this magnitude, but I thought, "The size of this thing must mean it's good, right?"

Wrong.

Immediately after I built my PC, I was having display issues. First, because of the idle function. When I would be watching YouTube videos, suddenly the idle function would kick in, and Chrome didn't like it. Whole PC would restart. Simple fix, but then a new problem started immediately after.

About a month after I built it, anything graphic intensive (video games, including L4D1) would cause my PC to lock up, black-screen, and restart. It would happen maybe once a week, then twice a week...now (6 months later) it happens 4 times a night.

I've replaced just about everything else in my computer, I've bought a new heatsink, and it still happens. A friend said the same thing happened to him with an Nvidia card--and got an RMA for it being totally fried. Literally.

Other Thoughts: For the price I paid, I expected at least a year of use out of it. Instead, I barely had a week's worth of uninterrupted gameplay. The drivers are awful, CCC is a real pain, and the rate of failure on these things is the icing on the cake.

I'm switching back to Nvidia. Never had issues with their cards in the past, and I don't have to deal with forced registration from them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I have had it for more than a year and never had anything wrong with it.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have had for more than a year and i am not upgrading to the 6850, if you are tight on money this card is a good bang for your buck.

5 out of 5 eggsA little overpriced here

Pros: Does everything I need it to do. I'm not a very avid gamer, but I like to play as few. Runs Oblivion and Starcraft II on max settings. Pretty quiet but I really wouldn't know since I use headphones while I play.

Cons: Price. Buy it at *ahem* a blue store with a yellow tag with their name on it (apparently not allowed to mention their name). A bit less than $90 after tax. I was about to get another from here along with a power supply because I use mine to run three monitors already and I want to have four along with my TV.

Other Thoughts: I thought Newegg was cheap?

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Awesome card, does what I expected and more. Plays everything I have threw at it at maxed out settings with no blips, hiccups or slow downs.

Cons: uhhhh

Other Thoughts: Card does not seem to get to hot when I was monitoring it. Even in a pretty cramped case. Just an all around good card

5 out of 5 eggsServiceable

Pros: Was to tie me over till I got a better video card but ATI/AMD has just been unstoppable and this card has grown on me as it can preform.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is great for users that don't need to be on the bleeding edge and just having a great picture is good enough for them.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Been able to play everything I've wanted to play at maximum settings. I was able to play Crysis at 1080p with maximum settings, no overclocking!

Runs very cool when not in game, doesn't turn my computer into a lava pit when I'm in-game, very happy with this.

Cons: None at all, so far.

4 out of 5 eggsXFX

Pros: Low Power demands, solid performance low price. Runs Crysis 2 Advanced mode 1920x1200 on HP LA2405wg 24" monitor.

Cons: ATI Catalyst Control Center runs horribly on this card. I was unable to use it on two different boards without flashing colors on web sites and the infamous blue lines. Almost RMA ed out of frustration. Got to XFX web site and download latest display driver software only rev 11.5. Problems resolved.

Other Thoughts: ATI CCC does not like this hardware period.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card for the money

Pros: Looks amazing, graphic output even more beautiful. went from playing WOW on low settings, and freezing often, to being able to use the ultra setting without upgrading the rest of my machine (which i will still do).

Cons: none from me

Other Thoughts: the only real viable complaint about this card is it often produces lines or flickers. this is caused by a driver issue on 64 bit machines. I for one had no issues with this as i use windows 7 X64. I did not have to update my driver as others have stated, which is why i am assuming they had issues.
