1 out of 5 eggsXFX will NOT honor warranty!!

Pros: Great card while it worked.

Cons: Fan went bad on my card. XFX states it will not honor the lifetime warranty!!!! Nowhere in the packaging or on the Newegg website did it say I had to register within 30 days for the Lifetime warranty!!

Other Thoughts: I purchased the card for the lifetime warranty, only to be scammed out of it when I need it. I will not purchase another XFX product again!!

1 out of 5 eggsWeasle out of Warranty

Pros: Card worked great for me for over 2 years

Cons: The fan went bad and since I did not register it 30 days from date of purchase, XFX is trying not to honor their Lifetime Warranty. I have all of the original material that came with the card and it does not state anywhere that I have to register it in 30 days. It also does not state this anywhere on Neweggs product description page so how was I supposed to know this.

Other Thoughts: If you buy a XFX card, register it immediately or this may happen to you. Very poor warranty support. If they do not honor this Warranty, I would not recommend purchasing from this vendor. I will update my review when I get the final answer from the company

4 out of 5 eggstoo late, does it matter?

Pros: It does run pretty good

Cons: At 1 1/2 years suddenly the fan got really loud.

Pretty hard to clean out since the wind tunnel box is so small/tight. I sprayed it out pretty good from every angle I could, it was getting a bit dusty.

Still made noise, messed with it for awhile and it's quiet again. Must've rattled a dust bunny loose.

I suppose I might have a warranty card somewhere but i couldn't find it. Looked at XFX site and it seems like their warranties are slim. Maybe just the BlackBox had lifetime (another review said this, I can't remember).

Other Thoughts: Guess I'll see how long it lasts. I'm not unhappy, just a bit scared I guess, too expensive to replace every year and a half.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs extremely fast and is fairly quiet. I haven't had any issues maxing out any of the games I play (Although I haven't tried Crysis II yet).

Cons: It is a little long, but that's to be expected. When I got it it was slightly pricy, but the cost has come down substantially.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This card can handle every game out there on ultra settings, except for crysis and maybe any brand new games around this post date, but thats not really a con. The card is double profile and it is 9.5 inches long. height shouldnt matter for a mid or full tower. Upgraded from 6600 GT and its unreal the difference is. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Cons: After my comp. turned back on from sleep state, the cards fan was in overdrive until i logged in. Once I logged in it went back to its idle state. It has only done it one time and no more then that. So there is no reason not to give this card a 5 star rating. maybe other then the fact they didnt have it when i wanted to get it the first time

Other Thoughts: My System Specifications:
Operating system:Windows 7 Pro
CPU type:AMD PhenomII X4 965 Black Edition Speed (GHz):3.42
System memory (GB):4 Gonna be 8
Graphics card model:ATI Radeon HD 5800 Black Edition
Disk Size/Type: Hard disk 750 GB WD Black Caviar

5 out of 5 eggssatisfied customer!

Pros: This card has been great for me. I really struggled with the decision to move up to the 'next tier' and get the 5850, and it has worked very well, I'm very happy with the purchase. It handles anything I've thrown at it so far, at 1920x1080 resolution. The factory overclock is great!

Cons: -its big?
-fan can be VERY loud, although i've never been in a situation where it really has to kick itself up during gaming, because overall the card runs fairly cool

Other Thoughts: I don't have a lot to compare this card to (my last card was a 6600gt....) but my experience with it has been great and I would buy it again. In fact, I may be buying it again in the near future to go crossfire....

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck$$

Pros: No need to O/C this card. Does not get hot like Nvidia cards. Size, will fit in most cases. Quiet and does its job well.

Cons: Price, but Nvidia prices will be higher performance vs price.... Think about this when you spend your money...

Other Thoughts: I still like Nvidia, but this card is great the Nvidias 400 series are already up to Rev. 4, is there a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsrevisiting

Pros: this card is still performing at the level it is supposed to after a month, so there some good news. still able to over-clock and smoke most 5870's out there. lifetime warranty also helps me sleep at night

Cons: the price spiked up about $40 since i bought my card.

Other Thoughts: when you start to get up into this price range, people are going to start thinking that its better off dropping the extra $40 on a 5870. they would be right in doing that. realistically you can get a 10% performance increase by upgrading to a 5870 for not too much money compared to this card. my advice: shop wisely. timing is everything in purchasing pretty much anything.

5 out of 5 eggsUpgraded from 8800GT SLI

Pros: Performance/Price ratio is rather amazing, Card runs cool and the fan is quiet most of the time, Eye pleasing design.

Cons: Pricing spikes an awful lot, I purchased this card for $20 less only a month ago. Also, a 2GB version will most likely be available this year for those looking to run extreme resolutions (1900x1200 and above).

Other Thoughts: Paired with a stock 965BE, this card offers an amazing increase in performance over my old 8800GT SLI setup at 1680x1050 resolutions. I'm currently in Hawaii and this card runs noticeably cooler and quieter than the previous setup. Runs BF:BC2 like a charm; max settings, 4xMSAA, solid 60FPS (adjust according to your tastes).
