5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Low Cost, Great Frame rates at high settings on most games, nice looking and takes up less space than most high end video cards I have installed. Lifetime Warranty.

Cons: The only con that I have isn't a huge con because it doesn't seem to hurt performance. It runs a little hotter than I am used to: It idles at 45C and runs around 64C - 65C under heavy load. It is a little defiant, as it refused to take my trash out today. I had to make my 15yo son do it instead.

Other Thoughts: I switched from a Palit NVidia 8800GTS that could out-perform 8800 ultra's and most of the NVidia 9000 series, because I saw good reports on the 5770 cards. This card shows an amazing difference in FPS. I have yet to actually clock them, but I can tell a visible difference immediately. I haven't used ATI since the early 90's because NVidia was just better. I am glad to see that AMD was able to make them great again. Can't go wrong with this card for under $200. Of course Newegg had it to me in 2 days as they did with most of my new parts for this build. Thanx Newegg!!

5 out of 5 eggsBest budget card on the market

Pros: Performs great, running great temperatures at a great price. Just Cause 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Crysis: Warhead all tremble before the might of this card.

Cons: It pleases me to say that I can't find anything wrong with this card. 2 months of no trouble, no framerate issues, and no worries.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME CARD!!!

Pros: Plays Modern Warfare 2 flawlessly at highest settings, or at least has so far. AMAZING looking fan. Got a 7.4 on the Windows 7 benchmark, but runs a lot higher than that.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: This card is the only thing that I have actually gotten to use out of my new build project. I was sent a DOA motherboard, so I have not had a chance to use my own computer. I did, however, throw this card in my friends computer, and it is AMAZING!!!

5 out of 5 eggsYippy!

Pros: - DX11
- Maxes out games, (even Crysis if you like playing at low fps. AA off is decent!).
- XFX's legendary customer service and warranty*

* I had purchased a Geforce 8600. After two years of working flawlessly, it had burnt out. I called up XFX since I had a lifetime warranty, and they told me to ship it to them. Since they didn't have that EXACT model in stock, they upgraded me to a 9500 for free :). There was another 5770 brand for 159.99, however XFX has made me a follower.

Cons: - Left4Dead2 currently has a texture error that should be fixed soon, so you have to play on low :(.
- There aren't any DX11 games out yet!!! (dirt2? Forget that, give me Crysis 2!!!)

Other Thoughts: I really wanted to benchmark this thing. I've been a GeForce fan ever since the geforce 3000 series. However, when I was hearing rave reviews of Radeon's 5000 series, I had to check it out.

I wanted a card which can play everything on max settings, but be cheap. I use it for my job, and presenting on high resolution screens is important.

Whatever I throw at this thing, it comes out like a champ. I wanted to benchmark it before I posted, and I can't really find any falts. Not only is it a champ, but it can currently play ANYTHING at max specs at 1680X1050 with full AA. Crysis is the only game I can find that starts to bog down the FPS, but all you need to do is turn off AA, (1680X1050 doesn't really need it anyways). Going from a Geforce 9500 to this is like being slapped with a big wet fish.

Seriously, the drivers will be fixed with time. For 170$ you get a double lifetime card that's on par with high-end geforce 200 cards.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card,Great price.

Pros: Price
DX11
crossfire ready
Maxed out games
Good for overclocking

Cons: This version of the cooler while in crossfire throws heat directly onto the other card below it.It really isn't substantial only about 2 degrees celsius higher.Make sure you have enough case ventilation.

Other Thoughts: Do not use the drivers that come on the cd!They are outdated and you will have problems.Go to amd.com and download the new one's.

4 out of 5 eggsReplaced 4850

Pros: Great card, DirectX11 at low cost. Works just as good as my 4850 with a few added features. I sold my 4850 so i didn't have to spend a lot extra for this.

Cons: First time i overclocked it i got BSOD. only overcocked one notch with auto tune. rebooted and very quickly (before the next bsod) turned it back down. won't try overclocking again.

Other Thoughts: Good card, durable, good heat sink, plays crysis at near max settings at 32fps on my setup. Go, ATI! your turn, Nvidia...

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Easy Installation, Love XFX's warranty, good performance so far for games with high settings on large resolution (22" monitor)

Cons: Came with a bad driver on CD (crashed my system) so right now I'm using Windows 7 drivers, though I can probably find the drivers online.

Other Thoughts: Great for the price. I recommend this card for gamers.
Note: If you have a very large monitor this video card is not for you.

5 out of 5 eggsPERFECTION

Pros: Amazing card!! Love the graphics this card has to offer. Played Crysis and Call of duty 4 on full graphics, everything went perfect just as expected from this card. Even try the card with other games and had no problems with this card whatsoever. I’m very pleased with the performance of this graphics card. ^^

Cons: None whatsoever, very easy to install and it even updates itself and install for you. ^^

Other Thoughts: I would like to apologize to Newegg, I thought my package would not arrive today. There were a few setbacks in my package but above all this company is the best and most definitely I will recommend to all my friends. They were willing to go the extra mile for me and I very much appreciate that. Thank you so much new egg for your great customer service. ^^

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card!

Pros: - 5770 (Juniper)
- DX11 (Windows 7)
- 40nm die (uses less power and less heat)
- Better than the 5750
- Doesn't cost over $200
- Double Lifetime Warranty (XFX only)
- Runs majority of games very well (with high settings)
- Crossfire ready
- 9.11 drivers work well with Windows 7 64bit

Cons: - Not a 5850 / 5870 / 5970
- High xAA and xAF can be taxing on the card in some games
- Card gets pretty hot (good airflow is required)
- Can become unstable at higher overclocks
- Drivers are relatively new and have some bugs
- No bundled games

Other Thoughts: - This a newer version of the XFX 5770 without the reference cooler. I have had no problems so far with it.

- The card requires a QUALITY 400-450 watt PSU minimum (30a on the 12v) and probably more if you run a lot of drives and other internal devices. Check ATI's site for qualified PSU manufacturers.

- I was looking for a video card for my new Windows 7 machine and was not looking to spend over $200. Went with XFX for the Lifetime warranty and my experience with their previous cards from Nvidia which ran flawlessly for me.

- Currently running Dragon Age at 1920x1200 on a 24" HP monitor with everything turned up and the core / memory overclocked. Looks good and plays great!

- If you plan to use a larger monitor (26"-30") with higher resolutions (i.e. 2560x1600), high xAA, and high xAF, you will be more satisfied with the performance of the 5800 series cards.
