4 out of 5 eggsStill a fast card but lots of defective ones floating around.

Pros: In comparison to the HD 7870 that is now in my main rig, this still gets decent benchmarks and performance at 1920x1080. Has Windows 8 support. XFX support does honor their warranties.

Cons: I had lots of problems with my card when first purchased in October, 2010. AMD was having some major issues with their x64 Windows 7 drivers at the time, so I assumed it was a driver issue and went back to my Crossfire 4850s for a while. Turns out that it was actually a bad card and there were a LOT of them when first released. XFX support can be a little slow to respond.

Other Thoughts: The performance of XFX cards is always great when they work. I've purchased 5 XFX cards over the years because of this and the lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, I had to RMA 3 of those cards and now only consider XFX if the price is right. While they do honor the warranty, it can be a pain to be without a video card for a few weeks.

4 out of 5 eggsLOUD But Proud

Pros: Very Reliable graphics card. Ran everything I threw at it at max settings even before taking advantage of Crossfire support.

Cons: Loud Fan. VERY Loud fan. Went to work one morning and got a call from my roommate saying my computer woke him up it had gotten so loud. Never could quiete it. guessing it's a defect or from age.

5 out of 5 eggsContender for best price/performance GPU

Pros: Single handedly played every game I threw at it on high, at 1680*1050, even crysis 1, with at least 30 FPS. Very underated card and I recommend it to anyone.

ALSO ridiculously cool, and low powered, leaves some room for overclocking.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I almost miss this card after replacing it with my current EVGA gtx 470 but it has gone to a good family.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card, horrible company.

Pros: Its a fairy powerful card (when it was in its prime) that was cheap enough to crossfire for better performance. Ran most games on high no problem on factory settings.

Cons: Horrible company. I recently had a issue with one of my cards. I thought nothing big of it because I bought xfx because of their double lifetime warranty. Sent in my info and the problem I was having. Within a couple days I get my RMA info and send my card in. A week later I get a message of denial on my warranty. They are claiming it to be water damage on the card now.

I am not nor have I ever run water cooling and my case is nowhere near any kind of water. After a quick search in google you can see the kind of stuff they're trying to pull. The double lifetime warranty is nothing but a ploy to gain sales they won't honor.

Other Thoughts: Buy EVGA. My dad had a card from them he had to RMA. They couldn't fix it so they sent him one card model better.

5 out of 5 eggsDeactivated a superb and reliable card!

Pros: Been an cheap Radeon guy all my life, I know there are driver issues, but I've had none since I've had this card. Runs Skyrim on high settings with 8x AA, 16xAF, FXAA. on 1920x1080 resolution above 40fps. Can't complain about that bargain! =), purchased a 6870 to replace it, going to give this to my brother. Love the lifetime warranty idea =D

Cons: Zero.

5 out of 5 eggsBest card for the money at the time

Pros: This card could play anything I'd throw at it. Fantastic value. I'd say best card for the price (at least when I bought it)

Cons: None to speak of.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Great card. Worked right away and have never had any problems.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It was huge on a micro ATX board. Mine runs at about 70 C on a very very full load. Normally it runs at about 60 C.

5 out of 5 eggsGood midrange card

Pros: Good card for the money now. Had this version for around a year now and it's still working great - overclocked and all.

Overlocks great. Got mine at 950/1400 and bumped voltage up to 1.25v and its running perfect! Can easily do 920/1350 on stock.

Also, runs pretty cool once you get the fan off the 'auto' setting. (See below)

Cons: ATI Drivers...I've found that the most stable driver for this card, that gives me the best FPS in most games, is the 10.4 drivers.

Other Thoughts: Use MSI AFTERBURNER for overclocking / fan control. Use the user defined fan control and you can set the fan speed in relation to temperature.

You can also unlock voltage control with Afterburner to REALLY overclock and push the card if you need to, or if you're having stability issues with a lower overclock.

I dont even bother to use the ATI CCC - but its still alright.

5 out of 5 eggsReview/Comment

Pros: The card runs BC2 on 1080HD resolution nicely (especially for the price).
Runs Company of Heroes like butter on max.

Cons: So far no cons, unless the fan is load, but that could be my side case fan.

Other Thoughts: The card does its job very well. The only thing probably holding it back would be my dual cure that I need to unlock to make it a quad core.
