3 out of 5 eggsDecent card - Horrible support

Pros: Inexpensive. Runs most games, with a bit of tweaking of the video settings...

Cons: Cheap flimsy fan. I have had to contact XFX support to replace the cooler on this video card twice (I generally clean out my computer at least every other month). Which wouldn't be a problem, if support was any good.

At least a week before you get any kind of response.

The latest cooler they sent me, which was obviously used, wasn't even cleaned out before they sent it to me. Still had filth and grime from the previous owner. Used parts aren't a problem, not properly refurbishing used parts is...

Other Thoughts: Sadly, i think i will avoid XFX in the future.. I like the warranty, but the hassle of dealing with support, just isn't worth it...

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

We're sorry you are having issues with your 5670. Fans are send out free of charge to help customers avoid incurring shipping fees for us to replace the units. Sometimes when we are out of fans, we send used ones, but since its free and fully functional, we approve the practice.

You are always welcome to send it in for full replacement servicing. Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsTop of the Line

Pros: Amazing graphics output and sustainment, plug and play with Crossfire ability.

Cons: Stopped selling the card. Early stages of owning it, seemed drivers wouldnt update and were a bit Glitchy.

Other Thoughts: Got to continue to sell products for at least 5yrs if its selling good with high ratings. Now I cant Crossfire. Literally the low #'s on this card don't do it justice. Cross-fired it could play any game on the market at max settings. Just the single card is amazing.

Pros: Does exactly what i bought it for, which is son's homework and light gaming.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: My 15yr old is the person that uses the computer with this card and hasn't complained.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: A very eggcellent card when I bought this... I bought this in Nov, 25, 2010...
For the price of 85.00..
I WISH the card wasn't dis-contunied! As I'd love to cross-fire this card!, Runs COD Black Op's just fine...
Or any other games I wish to play..
Running on a ASUS M4A785 Mobo, AMD Regor X2 250 & 4 Gigs of PC 6400 DDR2 Memory/Win 7... (No OC'ing)...
To bad "IF" you can find this card "still" you'll pay up-wards around 200.00+ for it...

Cons: NO CONS I'm very/very happy with the performance of this card.... ALMOST as good if not BETTER than the Sapphirre Brands of Radeon Cards... XFX has WON ME over, for My next purchace of/for a "up-grade"...

Other Thoughts: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT CARD

Pros: I got this card in August of last year and so far I'm very happy with it. It plays most of what I want to play on medium to high settings at 1920x1080 and is good for watching HD videos. I don't know how long i will have this card but i hope it lasts until I upgrade it. So far the best $80 ive spent on computers.

Cons: Doesnt play everything on max settings, but i knew that it wouldnt.

I was on a budget so i couldnt spend more than i did.

Other Thoughts: the cons don't really detract from me playing games. as soon as i upgrade my processor to an i5 i will get the most out of this card.

5 out of 5 eggsTrooper

Pros: Phenomenal performance out of this card. Like a previous reviewer had said, I WISH I had bought two of these two crossfire before they were discontinued.

No real heat issues (granted a lot of fans in my case) and I was able to run this without using a lot of power. It has run everything from The Witcher II to Skyrim to Arkham City. All on max settings? Absolutely not. All pretty darn smooth though? Absolutely.

Cons: None I can think of. Just that I didn't get a second one.

Other Thoughts: If you ever happen to come across this card for cheap somewhere, it's genuinely not a bad solution (I imagine a crossfire setup would be pretty nice with these) for a budget gamer or someone who just wants to have some slightly bumped up graphics. Breathe some new life into an old computer.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Powerful, can run all the most recent games at max (or at least near-max) settings. Doesn't seem to produce a lot of heat on its own. Lasted me two years so far.

Cons: NA

Other Thoughts: Probably should've bought a second one before Newegg deactivated this card for CrossFire X.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Graphics Card for the price

Pros: This is a very low profile graphics card. It only takes up one card slot in the back of your machine. I don't do any heavy computer gaming so it is perfect for my needs. It boosted my windows 7 score from around a 3 up to a high 5. It doesn't run hot and it doesn't require much power. It supports eyefinity for use with multiple monitors and it was one of the first cards to run DX11. The HDMI port is also in the middle of the card, so if the HDMI cable you are using has a larger plastic covering this will not be a problem with this card. I have been very happy with this graphics card. It works with Fedora Core.

Cons: It is not supported on Ubuntu 10.10 or 11.04. After the boot screens load, the screen will turn to black and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome budget card

Pros: -Great performance for the price that I got it for.
-No extra power cable needed
-Will run most games at 45-60 FPS at the resolution I played them (1440x900) with high-ish settings.
-Supports DirectX11

Cons: -It's a budget card, and will more than likely require lowered settings at higher resolutions (though I cannot personally attest to this).
-Not the fastest when running games in DirectX11.

Other Thoughts: In the 11 and a half months that I've owned it, this card has given me almost no problems. The only issue I had was the fan grinding loudly against the casing that contained it and the heatsink, and I was able to fix that by carefully removing the casing and adjusting its position. This was my first XFX product, and I have to say that I'm impressed. If you're building a gaming box on a budget, this card is a very reasonable purchase.

Manufacturer Response:

We are glad to hear that you have enjoyed your purchase. Thank you for purchasing XFX.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Good card for the price. Games run smoothly, HD to the big screen looks amazing.

Cons: Starting making a loud "jet" noise. Turns out there was a plastic covering around the fan/heatsink. Also when I cleaned the Fan a round clear flimsy plastic piece came out. Put everything back together and no more noise! So everything is good

Other Thoughts: I bought this with a "rebate" to be mailed back to me from the manufacturer. That did NOT happen. Very disappointing.
