1 out of 5 eggsWorked for about 12hrs

Pros: Nice and quiet, HDMI-out.

Cons: Installation disk couldn't detect card. Installed after approx 3 hrs but only after rebooting 15 times. Worked for 8 hrs until I had to shut down machine to replace a noisy case fan, reboot and for whatever reason XP couldn't find the drivers. Wasted half the day trying to re-install the drivers but gave up and returned it.

Other Thoughts: Still don't know if it was a defective card, mobo, faulty drivers for XP or just plain bad luck. That was by far the most frustrating video card install I've ever experienced! Replaced it with a non-XFX brand 5xxx series and it installed without a problem and haven't had any issues yet after 1 week.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC

Pros: Quiet, easy 1080p output over HDMI with 7.1 surround, DX 11, Small card, low power usage, no additional power connector needed

Cons: Not for serious gaming, but still far better than integrated graphics

Other Thoughts: Great card for a HTPC or anyone who isn't into gaming. DX 11 support and latest HDMI standards, including Blu-ray support

5 out of 5 eggsEasy Install - Painless

Pros: Install so easy that a monkey can do it. I didn't do any benchmarks because I was just looking forward to getting it in my rig asap. Compared to Intel G45 onboard graphics this card is amazing. I have a uATX mobo and case and this is small and comfortable. No power cord management.

Cons: It didn't come with the monkey. I had to install it myself. :(
