5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

Pros: This card flies through all of the games that I play. SC2, Dragon Age, Bio Shock, Mass Effect. They look a million times better than my previous card. In a couple years, I plan to crossfire when the card is cheaper.

Cons: Not really a con for the card, but just newegg descriptions in general. I saw other people complaining about the size of the card and it didn't fit into my case without some slight modification. I really wish Newegg would post the actual length of these massive cards.

Other Thoughts: If you bought this pc, it will not fit without some slight modification.

I had to move my hard drive down in the bay and cut a chunk out of the bay for the card to fit. Not the best solution, but it worked out fine as I don't plan to have any more than 2 drives in that bay.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent and fast

Pros: I was worried about the fan noise with this card, but no worries. It is silent at idle and silent at full load. My previous card would start to whine when under a load, but this card is staying quiet throughout. I am assuming it is spinning faster under a load, but I can't hear a difference

Cons: Very long card. My case specifically mentioned it could accept longer cards, and I need every inch of it. There is less than 1/2 inch gap between the back of the card and the hard drive slot. Just enough room to plug in the power cables.
NOTE: This card uses two PCI-Express power cables. My SLI ready power supply is using both power cables to run this single card

Other Thoughts: The card does come with two 4 pin Molex to PCI-Express power ports in case your power supply does not have two plugs.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic for price!

Pros: Fantastic card. Handles everything I throw at it with ease. Temp runs low. I was worried it would run a little hot because it didn't have a full heatsink but the egg shape is great.

Cons: Size, but just make sure you have a big enough case!

5 out of 5 eggsBattlefield Bad Company 2 at Full Detail

Pros: It's fairly quiet, easy to install, and runs Battlefield BC2 at full detail with 2x AA oversampling without any hiccups on my Phenom II X2 3.2GHz rig.

Cons: AMD ATI Software Utility is not easy to use.

5 out of 5 eggsYES fast BFBC2 ultra fast big jump from my 5770

Pros: If you cram this card in some Proprietary case design or low end case good luck! thats your own fault defect, deficiency, deficit, inadequacy, insufficiency, lack, paucity, poverty, scantiness, scantness, scarceness, scarcity, shortage, shortfall, underage and bad luck! my case so you know is HAF932 . Windows 7 64. Phenom II X3 720 at 3.0. ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO, 750 PC Power & cooling. Gskill F3 10666 DDR3. XFX Card temps idle as i write 44c, it hovers around 44c . Heavy hot fire fights in BFBC2 can jump 10-12 degrees Celsius. Room temp right now is 78F or 26 degrees Celsius that is a very close approx.

Cons: None, card flies, rips through CoDWaW BFBC2 and others. Happy but wondering if 5830 the MSI twin overclocked ( giving up one DVI port) for 204 dollars might clock and act as though its a XFX 5850 hum? maybe I'll by one to see

Other Thoughts: freaking card flies, rips through CoDWaW BFBC2 and all other PC games man i was shocked actually a big jump performance wise from a 5770. When a say big big doesn't have to be huge as any increase after 5770 overclocked is purely sweet. i cant see CF right now or jumping up a notch on the 5000 series cards for gaming. happy with the Frame rates good boost. don't bottleneck the card by some lack of luster processor , memory or mainboard chipset. You have to pick a place to start and i would start at YOUR CASE not video card first! air flow is very important no matter what parts you buy. start with a better than good case. look to spend a few dollars extra. forget some crammed up mid w/ no cooling options for this card. OR OR go spend more money and go aftermarket cooler or higher priced card that has twin fans. either way you have to think and spend spend! THE CARD IS HELL ON WHEELS!! great stuff! last thought? Happy but wondering if 5830 MSI twin overclocked ( giving up one DVI)

5 out of 5 eggsOverheats only if you have bad airflow.

Pros: This is an egg shape design so know that you must have good airflow and cooling in your case to keep this thing cool! Otherwise you will most likely write bad reviews like the guys below.

Easily runs all my games on max settings at 1920x1080 resolution. Crysis runs great even with AA on.

Cons: Metro 2033 seems like this games kryptonite for some reason when running on DX11 and big resolutions. The game still runs and looks great at lower settings and resolutions though...

No physx or other cool stuff nivida has but you should know that before buying. Drivers are not as good as Nividia for some games.

This card is really long (10.5 inches) add another inch with the back power connectors. It was annoying to fit in my case. No voltage control?

Other Thoughts: Over all I am satisfied with this card. Too bad I paid more than what it is selling for and the new Fermi cards came out a day after I bought it! I rather go nvidia after experiencing ATI.

5 out of 5 eggsWoot

Pros: Very Quiet to me, does all it claims. Seems to be made well. XFX helped me out with a 8800 gt i have had for 3 years.... That is some great support.

Cons: I have had no "whine" and the temps are fine to me better than the 260 it replaced. Noticed a large fps boost in games i play WoW SCII even UT2K4 LOL.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to do some upgrading and wanted to do xfire. I feel that it was worth the money for the upgrade and saving for a 2nd one .

4 out of 5 eggsNo Problems

Pros: Great FPS

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: I have no problems playing any game WoW constant 60 plus in dal. over 200 fps anywhere else at times. Dirt 2 cranked on multi monitors was solid 58 to 65 fps.
