1 out of 5 eggsAMD's Support is Horrid

Pros: It worked for some time

Cons: I have been unable to update the drivers. I tried a Catalyst Update which made me do a complete uninstall even of my drivers. When I tried to install, it failed. I tried several methods, all failed. I contacted support (cant talk to them) and it took 2 weeks for a response saying they fixed it yet I got the same exact errors. I've always gone with Nvidia and never once had an issue. Now I cant run crossfire so my 2nd card was a waste of money. Will never buy AMD again.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Cobus, who did you try to contact and where? Please contact XFX at xfxsupport.com, or email us at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com for fast response times and reliable service.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsSWEET CARD

Pros: the card runs most games on ultra graphics except Call of Duty Black Ops 2 which only lgoes from 60 to 30 when you ads on ultra

borderlands 2 runs no hiccups

i havent noticed any heat issues, but it could be my case ( got a Antec twelve Hundred V3, so space in my case isnt a issue either)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i have had no complaints so far i can see my computer running good with it

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card-

Pros: I play multiple games such as CS, WOW, COD, Battlefield, Diablo3,

Never had lower than 180 FPS in any game
Some games get 250+ Depends on graphic settings but I can play everything on High or ultra no problem.

Cons: Runs hot
The size of this card is huge. I really had to make room in my case for this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Diablo 3 max settings on eyefinity

Bf3 plays smoother than it did on my 560Ti

Cons: One fan, gets warm.

Other Thoughts: Had a 560Ti die on me and bought this as a replacement. Like the 6950 more.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card for gaming

Pros: The graphics performance, at 1920x1080 resolution, is awesome. If you manage to unlock the extra shaders then you'll be very happy with the energy draw, price, and performance

Cons: Only one fan. The temperatures on this GPU rise quite quickly, and the single fan makes quite a bit of noise at peak temperature.

Other Thoughts: A bit on the expensive side, but a very good expenditure. Even if you can't unlock the card into a full fledged 6970, the extra shaders are very much worth it.

I'd buy another, but the extra performance isn't necessary with as low of a resolution as I'm running.

2 out of 5 eggsnot a novice card

Pros: worked pretty good - when it worked

Cons: when i updated the driver , computer refused to restart. never got my rebate from XFX

Other Thoughts: dont buy anything that has a mail-in rebate. go with geforce

Manufacturer Response:

The telephone number to the rebate house is on the rebate form. If you contact our support team then we can help with your problem and get you the telephone number for the rebate house who issued your rebate. Thank you.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Works as advertised, can run almost all games on highest settings. Its pretty quiet, fits into my cramped Roswell Challenger with some room to spare. TONS of memory so you don't have to worry about it.

Cons: Cant go ultra on BF3 without the game crashing. Never really like AMD Catalyst...Idk if thats really a Con.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this Card

Pros: 256-bit, CrossfireX support, 2 GB, Plays TERA Online on HIGHEST Graphics no hiccups, i was getting 40 fps but that's because of me being CPU bound but i definitely wasn't GPU bound.

Cons: Price?

Other Thoughts: I really liked this Graphics Card and i wish i had more than one for crossfire support but i need a new motherboard and CPU combo :) I can't wait to test new games coming out with this. Plays Mass Effect 3 no problems, TERA runs great, FFXIV runs on average/high.
