2 out of 5 eggsWorked fine for 6 months then no good

Pros: Easy to install. For the time it worked, got very nice graphics on all games including playing WOW: Mists of Pandaria on Ultra settings with my rig. Did not make a lot of noise.

Cons: Like other users reported, out of nowhere the idle temperature on this shot up to the high 50s, low 60s despite not being a problem before; this occurred even during start up. During games, it will get as high as 105 depending on the session and will shut down the computer with no warning. Seems that the fan may not be powerful enough. Either way disappointing.

Other Thoughts: I was happy with this fan and really liked it, but I'm not at all pleased that it suddenly went down the drain and with no warning. It began with a display driver signal loss (that windows was able to recover from) and seems to be snowballing from there. XFX customer service seems like a pain to get a hold of and has not yet answered my ticket about this. The item isn't on their products page either. All in all, if you manage to find this card for sale somewhere and are looking at reviews, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a card.

5 out of 5 eggsXFX fixed my fan

Pros: See Previous Review

Cons: See Previous Review

Other Thoughts: My fan on this unit completley locked up after about a year and a half. I checked online trying to find a replacement fan to no avail. I called XFX on a Monday, told them what was up, and had a new fan with instructions on Friday. I was extremely pleased with XFX phone support.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for Gaming

Pros: Very good graphics card, can handle almost anything on very high or ultra settings.

Cons: For some reason I had a lot of hiccups with the card restarting my computer when I got it at first but haven't had problems since the first week. Also, the fan is so loud.

3 out of 5 eggsFan Woes

Pros: -good price and performance
-Worked for a year and a half

Cons: -Stopped working a after a year and a half
-Fan was always a bit noisy, now it is dead

Other Thoughts: Bought this card for my first build and have loved it up till about a week ago. I started having major stability issues in games. Lockups, shutdowns, etc. Started watching temps and notices that i was shooting up to 100C pretty darn quick. Opened up the case and saw that the fan was not working. I am bummed that I spent big money (for me) on a piece of equipment to be ruined by a 1$ fan. I will be calling XFX soon, and will report back with how it goes.

1 out of 5 eggslasted almost 2 years

Pros: Seemed like a nice card and has a full size hdmi port.

Cons: Started acting up about a month ago and now will only boot without the drivers installed or in safe mode.

Other Thoughts: I used to love ATI, but now I'm probably going with Nvidia

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price/performance value

Pros: A little over one year and three months later, this card is still fantastic! For a card that costs under $200 there can be no complaints as far as performance. In fact I would say this was the best deals for a video card in my PC building career. The price to performance is great and it's still beating up most games at High/Ultra.

Pros:

- Great Price/Performance ratio
- Plays all modern games at High/Ultra
- Everything renders beautifully
- No issues regarding drivers

Cons:
- When using my speakers instead of headphones, the fan is very noticeable.
- When playing demanding games, the fan gets loud. If this is a problem for you, you may want to check out the two fan solutions by XFX.

Cons: Cons:
- The fan is noticeable at idle.
- When playing demanding games, the fan gets loud. If this is a problem for you, you may want to check out the two fan solutions by XFX.

Other Thoughts: Games played:

Battlefield 3 Multiplayer
BioShock Infinite
Deadspace 1 and 2
Mass Effect Series
Civ V
Day Z

Rig: (Still no need for a refresh, but we are getting there

AMD Phenom II 955 x4

1 out of 5 eggsbad card

Pros: This card runs good, I didn't even buy it for gaming but my son suggested it.

Cons: After about 2 years, it started acting strange. The screen splits in the middle and the left side of the picture ends up on the right side of the screen and the screen has lots of fuzz in the picture. I started looking for a solution and noticed that this is a common problem with this card. probably going with Nvidia after this.

Other Thoughts: I guess it lasted for a little while

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it - Unreliable

Pros: Worked well for about 3 months

Cons: Died after about 3 months of use. It would power up, the fan would be making a whole bunch of noise, but no signal was being sent to my monitor. I tried different cables, monitors, nothing. Sent it in for an RMA. Two weeks of downtime later, I get one sent back. This one workked for about 4 days, then had the same exact problem. I sent it back for another RMA. After about 3 weeks they tell me it's not faulty, and that they will contact me. It's been almost a month since I sent it in and I still don't have a working graphics card.

Other Thoughts: The first time I sent it in, I had to pay for shipping. The second time, they sent me a label. Them finding it not faulty seems strange since I tried and tried and couldn't get any signal, while the cheap graphics card I bought as a back up seems to be working fine.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fits mid size tower. Stays cool. Handles all the games I play

Cons: Bought in May 2012. In Feb. 2013 cooling fan has begun to make noise. Sounds like the bearing or bushing, whichever this particular cooling fan uses.

Other Thoughts: Will probably contact XFX about fan for replacement.
