5 out of 5 eggsSpeedy, fanless, dual display

Pros: No mechanical fan that fails down the road and makes noise.
Speedy graphics, enough for light gaming and Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing.
Supports dual display (possibly 3 displays). I am using dvi and hdmi (with hdmi-->dvi cable bought separately).
Thin enough to fit one slot (unlike the GeForce 210 which was too fat).

Cons: Probably not a gaming video card, but clearly enough to do video editing and photoshop.
HDMI to DVI cable not included.

Other Thoughts: I don't game on my PC, but I imagine this card could handle some recent games fairly well... but probably not the most recent and taxing games.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap, reliable brand, but running hot concerns me.

Pros: It's a $30 Card! Is plenty of power for running standard computing, such as web surfing, Netflix, and simple gaming.

Cons: I bought this for an patch build I slapped together. After referencing my stats with the Catalyst driver manager, I noticed the card was running at over 70 C with out me doing anything. AT this idle temp, longevity concerns me a bit. Since this case has poor ventilation, I ordered a PCI slot fan into order to coax some air of the heat sink.

Other Thoughts: This card may run happy as a clam for years at over 70 C? It might just be me, but I'm not comfortable with electronics being at that temperature.

Check around when you're purchasing in this price range; there are a bunch of options. If I would bothered doing my homework, I would have spent $10 more and purchased a GPU with active cooling.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, 70'C isnt unreasonable for a 5000 series GPU. Fortunately, the longevity is considered much higher since there are no moving parts. Play Hard!

2 out of 5 eggsWho has time

Pros: cheap
low profile

Cons: right out of the box
low profile main bracket not drilled right
cd-rom had errors
to download software from this company you have to register your live away.

Other Thoughts: i don't have time to go throght all the rma stuff..wheather the product is cheap or exspensive ... do the job right the first time

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Offdepp, we're sorry you are having issues with your card.

Drivers can be found at, or, we do ask you register the serial number to an email and address/telephone. They dont have to be truthful, but a frame of reference for our warranty is requested.

Whats wrong with your low profile bracket? i would be happy to help get it replaced.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Came with a shim for both low profile and full profile.
The pictures do not seem to reflect what I received. The heatsink is now flush with the PCB and will fit in a low profile case if you're using one. Of course, with no fan it is super silent.

Cons: Heatsink will burn you if touched. I hope this card lasts despite the heat output. I wish there was some way to make the card relax, it's just for displaying a terminal on a monitor.

Other Thoughts: Just needed a cheap card to put in a small server. It does exactly as advertised.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade for Older Dell PC

Pros: I bought this card to replace the Intel G43 on my Dell Inspiron 560. It's a very cheap upgrade and my machine runs a lot better, and I can play more games. You can OC the card but I'm not going to, it's fine like it is. I like the fact that the large card mounting plate is black like newer cases.

Cons: The only con I have is the installer went unresponsive once requiring a reboot. Everything else is awesome.

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if the low profile brackets were black but I'm not using them so it's not a problem. Would be nice if software was better since I had to reboot (look above).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fanless. Super low power draw. 2 digital outputs.

Cons: None as of now.

Other Thoughts: Got it for the wife's HTPC. It handles everything she uses it for: Facebook, youtube, dvd/bluray, extremely light gaming like Bejeweled.. If you're buying this to play any sort of major 3d intensive stuff that has come out in the past 3-4 years, get anything else.

It CAN run stuff like FTL or Minecraft or Terraria, but definitely not high frames at 1920. If you're hoping this will be a mega-basic upgrade from an older onboard Intel GMA, then yes, it's a basic upgrade.

3 out of 5 eggsNot low profile

Pros: I'll never know

Cons: This is most definitley not a low profile card unless you were to replace the stock G.P.U. heat sink. Unfortunately there is no pin connector for a fan so you would reduced to using a smaller heat sink.

Other Thoughts: There is very poorly marked and was a huge disappointment once it arrived. I gave it three stars simply because this was not the cards fault, but rather poor inventory organization.
