4 out of 5 eggsA great card for the money

Pros: Nice packaging. Good instructions. Has a DVI to VGA adapter included. Also has a display port built-in. This is a really good adapter for multiple monitor setups. No significant power needs for this adapter and it does not require separate PCI-E power cable. Lifetime warranty.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: At some point I expect to try this adapter in a PCI-E 3.0 slot to check out its performance, but I was really surprised at how Windows Experience Index went from 3.2 to 5.9 on a Vista x64 older Gateway PC with a Core2 CPU and 6GB of RAM. The graphics really snap and have no perceptible lag on a 2-5ms response monitor. Make sure to reboot twice after installation to re-route video from the motherboard to the adapter if the motherboard does not include a force PCI-E graphics option.

5 out of 5 eggsAPU's best friend

Pros: Excellent in combination with the AMD APU. This card will turn your APU based system into a decent gaming rig for very little money.

On-board display port.

Cons: Crazy cover thing on the fan is a little ridiculous.

Other Thoughts: Buy it.

1 out of 5 eggsMisleading

Pros: I guess the card works okay. Bought it to replace a failing GeForce 7600 GT.

Cons: Bought this with a promo and newegg can't get their head out of their rears.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsdecent card

Pros: well i got this card to do the a10 crossfire and dont get me wrong after finding the right drivers i got it working and it didnt have any problems doing so either.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: after a while i can say this card runs games at high settings just fine for the most part, not crysis though. but if your looking to do the hybrid crossfire save your money and just get a bigger card. if your doing a low budget build it can be a great card on its own

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly so far.

Pros: Fast.
No need of a power plug.
Nice big heat sink.
Fairly quiet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I found, after buying it, that it is a bit slower than the 5770 low profile card I just gave away. My fault for not doing better research.

1 out of 5 eggsBrick of of the BOX

Pros: None, does not work with my motherboard when the CPU Multiplier sets to 30. (Default frequency for the CPU)

Cons: Does not work with my MB, ASUS F1A75-V EVO FM1 AMD A75, with default Multiplier of 30. It will not boot at all. If I can the Multiplier to anything lower, the board will boot to windows but since then it will be in OC mode, very unstable. Contacted Support, sent the card back. They find no issue. The will not address the incompatible issue and will not work with me to get an upgrade( not even if I am willing to pay). My experience with XFX is terrible and will not buy anything from them again. I will also recommend other people not to.

5 out of 5 eggsA fighting force

Pros: This product packed a lot more punch than what I expected. Nearly all my games can run on Ultra (except Skyrim, which can still run with mixed Ultra/High settings). I haven't quite tested it against BF3 or Crysis, but I can honestly say this card can hold up against most games you can throw at it with high or max settings.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from an HD5450 to this. I was running Skyrim, Minecraft, Half-Life, TF2, Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect 1, with nearly all set on relatively low/medium settings.

Pros: This has to be one of the best cards ever! It runs everything I throw at it at max resolution with medium to high settings! I run LOL max settings at 40fps. CounterStrike maxed out at 70+ FPS!

PSU:300watt
Ram:3gig
WEI: 5.9

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: If you are deciding to buy this, dont decide... JUST BUY!

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Inexpensive with great performance

Cons: Cover on GPU fan is cheesy looking.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to try out running crossfire with a AMD 3870 3.0GHz Llano APU. This card does work in Crossfire with an APU but not in tandem with another card. I got better WEI numbers with this card running discretely than I did under Crossfire (Crossfire was 6.4 and 6.6). If I eventually get the mail in rebate I will have only paid $75 for a card that gives me 7.1 and 7.1 WEI numbers. Not bad.
PS the APU without this card got a WEI of 5.9 and 6.6.

4 out of 5 eggsawesome

Pros: highest level card that can 'dual-graphics' with an A8-3870k, gained a noticeable jump in fps in all games, mw2,mw3, bf3, skyrim, crysis2, card handles games much better than the APU's gpu. quiet card even after a few hours of gaming/movie watching/etc.

Cons: took a bit to to dual-graphics but not really a con, wish it had 2GB memory.

Other Thoughts: great all around, would buy again. XFX has always come through with just some amazing gpu cards.
