5 out of 5 eggsGreat cards for the money

Pros: Installed simply in an HP Compaq SFF desktop with the existing power supply. Worked great. Does well with games considering the relatively low power CPU and business optimized hardware architecture.

Cons: Was EXTREMELY close the tolerance of space allotted for a low profile card in this system. If it had been 1mm wider, it would not have been able to fit. The heat sink literally rubs the side of this computer's case.

Other Thoughts: Good card for the money. No real complaints. I bought to of them to turn a couple of business PCs into low end gaming systems for Minecraft and it served that purpose well.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks for what I needed

Pros: $14.99 after MIR, free shipping, so it's the cheapest 6450 card out there,
I need a video card for my HTPC, and this card works fine with HDMI, the color and picture quality is noticably better than my onboard Intel GMA X4500,
It also frees up 256MB of my memory as it was shared by onboard video,
Works fine without external power adapter, so it doesnt consume whole lot more electricity,
It's quiet...no fan :)

Cons: This is 32bit card, and many people confirmed it couldn't game. But I just need it for HTPC: play video, youtube, internet. So it's fine.

Other Thoughts: I think it's great for HTPC. For game, please consider spend at least 19.99 after MIR for GT430, or 40 after MIR for Radeon 6670, or even more.
Windows 7 socre: 3.1 for desktop and areo (it's actually lower than my onboard GMA X4500), 5.9 for 3D and gaming (much higher than my onboard GMA X4500 at 3.4, but I wouldn't play game using this computer anyways. For game, I still use my good old 9800 GT.)
So far so good, just waiting for the rebate.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: the price is right for a card with these features

Cons: It's really not low profile ready, because the heat sink is so big that it sticks up 3/4" above the "spine" of the card, and it's so fat that it overlaps adjacent expansion slots. Great idea, poor execution.

3 out of 5 eggsOk Price, but poor performance

Pros: The price is somewhat in expensive.

Cons: The wei is 4.1 and 5.6. Which is similar to some onboard graphics.

Other Thoughts: I would only recommend getting this if you have an older machine. Instead if you want to get an inexpensive card buy a 5550 or 5570.

2 out of 5 eggsNot for low profile case !!

Pros: The 6450 is a great HTPC card, and the price after rebate is good

Cons: This card, even with the low-profile bracket will not fit in my Lian Li PC-C37B HTPC case.
The heatsink rises above the top of the pc board on this card.
Dont know how they can call it low-profile ready, if it doesn't fit in low-profile cases.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget card

Pros: No fans so it's dead silent. Black card and heatsink looks great. Low profile, DirectX 11, DVI and HDMI

Cons: Gets a little warm but that's to be expected with no fans.

Other Thoughts: I installed this in a pc used for web browsing and zero gaming. Perfect budget card, I only buy XFX amd cards!

2 out of 5 eggsCheap! in all ways

Pros: Cheap, easy to install

Cons: Had to download 5 different drivers and updates. Had to setup myself. After downloading drivers I had to make changes so screen and icons were not huge. Not very clear screen words seem blurry/choppy

Other Thoughts: This was a down grade from a Nvidia GeForce 1gb 9800 GT which was failing due to high gaming. I purchased this card because of the price and the box stating this card would improve browsing the internet and viewing flash based games, editing photos and videos, opening and editing large documents, booting and shutting down, loading and playing HD movies, editing sound files and 3D gaming. I thought since the one I had was failing and I was freezing up that this could not be worse but the clarity is really bad and games are not smooth. I should have paid the extra 30-40 bucks and got a better card. I have not attempted any games yet.

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for!

Pros: Good DX11 Compliant card.

Cons: 32-bit not good for pushing frame rates or effects on Battlefield 3!

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace a 4850 I had in my kids PC, didn't check the bit rate for the card, was quick to order to get them into the game (so they wouldn't use mine!) 32-bit does not equal smooth game for BF3 remember that!
