4 out of 5 eggsGood Price

Pros: Runs great worked like a charm playing games in 3d on my HDTV.

Cons: Buying a 3rd party program to make 3d work was a drag.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we're sorry you had to buy 3d software. What was wrong with the stereoscopic built into the card and drivers?

2 out of 5 eggsGreat start, horrible finish

Pros: The card worked great for me for over a year of running a single monitor setup. Ran games flawlessly, never got fps lag.

Cons: At one year of age I began experiencing strange problems. My screen would completely glitch and look like it was showing White noise but in color. It only happened on one monitor when using two monitors, the second monitor had absolutely no issues. Usually it goes away after 5-30mins, but increases in time each time it happens. sometimes it will happen once a month, sometimes 7-12 times a week.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: Great mid-range GPU for someone who has always used low-end GPU's (ATi 9200SE and ATi HD 4350).

Performs great when playing newest games, running at aroung 40-55 FPS on highest setting's at 1280x800 (my preferred resolution). While not recording using FRAPS you almost always get a solid 60 FPS. Fairly sure you could push that even further.

Runs cooler than my CPU (wasn't expecting that!), sitting at around 25 C at idle, and 50 C under full load.

Cons: Fans can be pretty loud when they start running. However i don't mind this (and I intentionally set the fans to always run at 75% max speed).

I could never get OpenCL to work with this GPU. Sony Vegas would always crash when it tried to use the GPU, I'm fairly sure it was a problem on my end however.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card for those who want a powerful GPU without getting the top of the line model and break the bank. Would've liked to have gotten another one of these and made a crossfire setup.

1 out of 5 eggsOverheating All the time.

Pros: Was a great price, powerful card

Cons: I couldn't even keep the computer on because it overheated all the time. I adjusted settings to try and keep it below 70c but even with WoW on low settings, no view distance, it still ran 780-85c and constantly crashed if I adjusted to good/high. Rediculous and now I am getting the run around from XFX about this card.

Other Thoughts: I'm glad this is discontinued.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid, not very well supported

Pros: This is a great graphics card. Plays hard and works hard. Runs DirectX 11 games without any problem and at their highest settings. Also a great bang for your buck.

Cons: Discontinued shortly after I bought it, wish I woulda known.

Other Thoughts: Make sure if you buy ANY graphics card or build a PC that you install the OS on your hard drive with your hard drive in your machine. I ran into issues because I installed Win7 on my hard drive using a friends computer because I didn't have a disc drive at the time. This caused the graphics card to crash frequently, even with up-to-date drivers.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card, poor coustomer support

Pros: Great card for the money

Cons: XFX coustomer care sucks

Other Thoughts: Bought this card to crossfire with an XFX ultra over clocked 7770. first time they worked great, then got a BSD, reset the Motherboard, and found out the first card wouldnt work. RMA'd it back to XFX. Got a replacement and it wouldnt even boot. When it finally did, was saying OUT OF RANGE. Called them again and now getting a run around.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card for the price

Pros: great card that has allowed me to max out my games i upgraded from a 6790 so it wasnt a substantial upgrade but other than that it was a great upgrade and having a 30 dollar rebate makes it a whole lot better. and this card is very quiet even running on 100% load i dont even hear it.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: none except this card looks good runs good and is a great upgrade if your on a budget.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, But Don't Overestimate it.

Pros: This card is great...For what it's designed to do. I bought this card because I was looking for a decent card with great cooling. I game, but I don't "Game". This card can play any game you want, but don't expect ultra and 100 fps. It's rather large, but it has great cooling. I've never gone above 60 C, and I stress tested with Skyrim on Ultra with Hd textures.

Cons: Not too many.

Other Thoughts: This card is not for hardcore gamers. Go with something like a 7870 if you want some serious power. I bought it knowing what it can do, which is to be a great basic card.

4 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Very crisp, and clear picture quality. Everything you would expect from a card of this quality.

Cons: The heat... the heat, the heat... this card runs pretty hot... my case temp went from a nice 80 degrees ferinheight to a whopping 116 ferinheight... just from adding the video card! I have gamed 8 hours with a high load and the card never has come close to overheating. but i might need some better case fans to compensate the heat from this card.
