5 out of 5 eggsrebate back with no hassle

Pros: I already wrote an earlier review giving 4 out of 5 stars as for 25 dollars it was still a good value for older systems needing a hdmi port and freeing up ram from the clutches of onboard graphics.
My rebate of 15 was hassle free and makes this an eggxceptional value

Cons: waiting for the rebate

Other Thoughts: nowaday onboard graphics are better than this.
this card only makes sense on a system more than a few years old.benefits are
frees up needed ram esp in 32bit xp,7 systems partically helpful with vista.
beats any onboard option until the last generation
allows hdmi streaming with a good dual cpu for netfix or you tube

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Low profile ready; fanless; low heat.

Cons: The heat-sink has a small ridge running along the outer edge of the card, effectively increasing the dimension by about 2mm; making it slightly too tall to place into a SilverStone ML03B case w/o making concessions. Nothing unsurpassable, just annoying.

Other Thoughts: This makes for a good media center card. There are a lot of comments about issues. Either the last CCC update resolved them or the XFX models I've purchased are special, as I have had no problems other than overscan on my 67" display.

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: worked with no problems, got this shell shocker deal with a $15 rebate that took about 5 weeks so this unit ended up costing me only $10 bucks...you can't beat that! Teamed it up with a MB that didn't have on board plugs and all the other parts I had laying around...NEW PC, okay not top of the line but the kids like it.

Cons: a little glitchy when my son play's his SWTOR video game on it but for just regular web surfing and streaming some video it works fine.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap and slow

Pros: It's cheap. If you just need a card for a workstation , it will more than suffice.

Cons: It's slow. It's certainly good enough for regular use and even flash games, but it's much too slow for most fullscreen video games. I tried to play Skyrim in fairly low resolution (not positive, but I think it was 1200x768), and it was like watching a slide show.

Other Thoughts: If you don't play video fast-paced video games, this card is a bargain. If you do, it's not.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks right out of the box

Pros: Extremely low price. Nice resolution. Supports dual monitors. Low-profile brackets included.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this to support a 2nd monitor on my Dell desktop that only had an on-board video port. I was a little leary given the reviews stating that there were issues with the BIOS & drivers. However, I had absolutely no such issues. I plugged in the card, hooked up the monitors, & installed the drivers. Everything went perfectly. Took all of 5 minutes, & most of that was spent swapping out the brackets.

5 out of 5 eggsFor the price, does what I need

Pros: This is not a gaming GPU. Just needed to put something in a server that wasn't garbage. Works like it's supposed to.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: A little warm since there is no fan, but I have other forms of airflow in this case so it's not that big of a deal. Be aware of this if you game in a smaller case.

5 out of 5 eggsinexpensive hdmi output

Pros: cheap. with $15.00 rebate total cost was $10.
installs easily, as it should.
instantly recognized.

Cons: not designed for heavy duty graphics. (not really a con, as it should be obvious)

Other Thoughts: i bought this card to add hdmi output to an older cpu. this was the only reason i purchased and for that purpose it works good.

i am yet to receive the rebate from xfx.. this entire review is assuming i receive the rebate as advertised. without the rebate i would not think this was such a good deal.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it...

Pros: None.

Cons: I bought this for an older machine that had a low Graphics score via the Windows Experience Index. While it did improve the gaming graphics score, it actually decreased the regular graphics score. For grins, I installed it in a newer machine that also had built-in graphics, and it decreased both the graphics scores nearly in half.

Just not enough guts... no matter how much you pay (mine was only $10 after the rebate), it is not worth it. Get something with better specs.
