The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. 5 out of 5 eggsQuite the Video/Graphics improvement. . .

Pros: It easily installed in a motherboard (ASRock G41M-S3) that is not what most would call mainstream and yet didn't cause any grief!
It accomplished the goal of improved graphics support for video editing/conversion (VHS to DVD), and with headroom to spare.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Once the on-board graphics adapter was disabled this card installed without a hitch. The driver install time seemed a tad painful, but installation went with hiccup and/or redo with only one (1) reboot.
I call that success?

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card for Linux workstation

Pros: Price, form factor, and it's support on Linux distributions. Even with open source drivers

Cons: Probably wouldn't be good for too much gaming, that is to be expected at this price point though.

Other Thoughts: Excellent card, had it running with Fedora 17 on an Ivy Bridge system I built. Supported and detected immediately by Fedora and ran well on a dual 1080p monitor setup. No complaints, excellent card if you need some low end graphics power.

5 out of 5 eggsGood up grade

Pros: Fairly easy install with Win 7, super easy with Win 8, OS does all the work. Not a heavy gamer, handles Orcs must die well and world of tanks.

Cons: Non so far

Other Thoughts: This is on an ASUS board with 4g of ram and a Pentium dual core @ 3.0g I intend to get another for my AMD rig.
