5 out of 5 eggsPrice for Performance 10/10

Pros: This card is great for the average user, and by that I mean light gaming, web surfing, word and many other things.

If your a heavy gamer you should know, its the GPU not the CPU so that 5ghz cpu is not gonna help you in BF4 if you have this card! People need to understand what parts are needed.

I personally love this for my HTPC.

I'd recommend this for lowend users.
Also the heatsink does just fine if you have OK cooling.

Allover I give this 10/10 because of the price.

Cons: It could use a fan,but it stays cool enough without it.

Other Thoughts: Good card for price. Note-I got mine for $20 after rebate the normal $50.00 is too much.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat basic video card

Pros: I had built in graphics, on the motherboard, that several online games would not work with. I installed three of these cards, one in each gaming computer. Installation was easy in my full-height case using the default rear bracket. Installation was easy in one of my Dell 755 mini-cases, using the included Low-Profile Bracket.

Cons: One of my boxes did not include the low-profile bracket, and when I checked the "what's included", the low-profile bracket wasn't listed. It had the same model number as the ones that did included it.

Once I replaced that unit, I went to install the low profile bracket, but the ribbon cable that connects to it, wasn't long enough to place the low-profile extra bracket in the slot behind the card. My PCI-e slot was on the wrong side of my only other slot, so the ribbon cable had to run over the top of the card into the slot behind it - it did not fit.

Other Thoughts: The only way I got that computer to work, was removing the cable-connector from the low profile extra bracket. I left this dangling over the card and connected the external cable through the opening where the bracket would have been and connected it to the ribbon cable connector. Then I only had to insulate the back of the graphic card so the dangling connector didn't swing up against it when I moved the computer. Not an ideal setup, but it worked.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes its job but runs hot

Pros: Does the job and doesn't take up 2 slots on the motherboard. Simple plug and play, on windows 8.1 atleast.

Cons: Runs a little hot. Idle temperature is 56C from GPUZ-Z. With a fan on the side of the case it went down to 44C. This card is just connected to 1 19" monitor.

Other Thoughts: For comparison, I also have MSI GeForce GTX 550Ti in another slot and it runs at cool 31C. However this card comes with a fan and it takes up 2 slots on the motherboard. It is connected to 2 24" monitors.

Power consumption of my system when idle went up about 8 watts after adding this card.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat little card for HDMI TV

Pros: great price, no fan, easy setup, low energy consumption.

Cons: not for games

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for something to connect your computer to HD TV and watch online TV or Netflix or HULU this is card for you. Not recommended for playing games (it will play it in low res but its not for that)

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Low-profile, fanless, 3 of 4 common display outputs. It's honestly pretty snazzy-looking, to boot.

Cons: 2GB of memory is overkill for this GPU and mostly there to pay a few extra bucks for. IMO.

Other Thoughts: You can probably find a deal on a higher-performing card for this card's list price if you look, but with a discount and a rebate it's really hard to beat. Only logical thing that could be improved would be inclusion of DisplayPort, but that's stretching the definition of logical in this market segment and price point.

Thank you for the great review!

4 out of 5 eggsThis is a good card for light to moderate gaming

Pros: Rebate made this card only $20. Cant go wrong at that price. Has your three basic connectors and looks awesome. Silent.

Cons: I knew what I was getting. This was for my wife's computer. She loves to play the sims 2 and she works in IT. Just for kicks I tried playing skyrim on it. Could only play on low graphics, unless You enjoy some serious lag.

Wifes computer specs fx6300 8 gb ram etc etc

Other Thoughts: This card is great. I would buy again. Just not for my rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card at a Great Price

Pros: The card does a great job for normal desktop applications. The card also came in at a great price. Pumps out 1080p video, spits out blue ray video quite nicely.

Cons: The card itself isn't super high end, so I would never buy this expecting the card to run video games at any of the higher settings.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to use temporarily while I build my dream machine (I am splitting the cost between multiple paydays, I refuse to pay interest on a computer!).. at any rate, the card is working great paired with an AMD 9590 8-Core Processor, 32 gigs of 1866mhz Corsair Dominator Ram, 3x 120gb Corsair SSDs in a RAID 0 on an ASUS Sabertooth 990 Motherboard.

I plan to replace this card in the near future, but intend to hold onto it for use in a future HTPC build, or just to have as a spare. The card is great at this price.
