4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Works out of the box without worries. Used for an old gaming rig that had a dead HD5770 Powercolor. Replaced with this card. Got for 49.99 with rebates. Does exactly what the HD5770 did. It will handle most games and a/v at upper resolutions at about 30-50 fps.

Cons: Small, like it's too small to do anything! Works better than expectations. Fan looks cheap, but may be ok.

Other Thoughts: Small, cheap fan looks like it will fail in about 3 years. Doesn't look like bearing but cheap brushless. I may be wrong.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the review, we really appreciate you taking the time to write it.

1 out of 5 eggsCard is decent enough, But XFX customer service has considerably dropped in the last 6 years

Pros: Card is decent enough for a low profile model for what should've been 30 dollars (assuming i don't get denied my VALID REBATE again.)

Cons: The XFX customer service is lacking beyond even that of Time Warner Cable. I submitted all the documentations for this card for the rebate to only be denied then in the following email state that I am only allowed ONE resubmit to challenge then denial. I spoke with a representative who refused to allow me to speak to any other manger or supervisor and only stated that i need to resubmit the same documentation. She continuously put me on hold to say the same thing without any proof that she spoke to a supervisor/manager. BUT refused to explain in which way I can submit the "SAME" documentation to qualify for the video card.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased numerous cards from XFX over the years on newegg and other online retailers and years ago XFX customer service was stellar. I remember a time where i purchased a video card that came with Call of Duty Modern Warfare, but the card came with company of heroes instead. I remember calling customer service and being sent the game the next day. That was the company it USED TO BE, now its customer service is outsourced overseas UNWILLING TO PROVIDE ANY CUSTOMER SUPPORT. In this day and age where you have numerous competitors, the only way to stand out is to provide the best product and great customer service and you have failed in that.

Manufacturer Response:

Hey Tony,

We are sorry you had issues with the rebate company, 4myrebate.com. Fortunately, we have the power to force any rebate claim through that didnt make it.

Please contact us for assistance.

Please provide the rebate tracking # and the reason why your rebate was denied.

5 out of 5 eggsCute little card

Pros: Small, great price, runs cool, just the right amount of video performance for what I need (watching TV & movies). Fit perfectly, no problem installing drivers in Win7 machine.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I don't play video games so I don't need the horsepower of the $500 cards.
Didn't get the rebate submitted in time. It's always a trade between letting the RMA period run out vs. letting the rebate period run out.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello David, Thank you for taking the time to review this product. We appreciate your time and feedback.

The rebate should be a given opportunity, not a gamble or juggling act. If you still haven't claimed the rebate, please do so, and email me the rebate tracking # so i can manually approve it despite being out of date.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: I'm using this to replace a Quadro FX 3700 on an old AMD 64 X2 system that was having trouble streaming Flash and HTML5 video. It does that perfectly and the gaming performance is almost identical to the Quadro, although I wouldn't consider either a gaming card. It also runs much cooler and quieter.

Cons: It refuses to cook me breakfast, even when I ask nicely.

Other Thoughts: At $39 after tax/shipping/rebate (assuming I get the rebate) this was a perfect upgrade for what I'm doing. At full price it would probably be worth spending a little more and getting a faster card.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review. We appreciate the positive feedback.

3 out of 5 eggsDual Graphics NOT Crossfire

Pros: The card is good for what it is. It is an entry level card meant to do decent on graphics and be affordable to the general gamers and good for movies.

Cons: None, it does what it is meant to.

Other Thoughts: Contrary to what Kuldeep said above, this card does NOT crossfire, it works in dual graphics mode with the processor. Dual Graphics and Crossfire are entirely 2 different things. Do not buy 2 of these, and expect to crossfire them, it won't happen.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Thank you for the review. This is correct, If it doesnt have room for a bridge, it wont support Xfire.

most newer 270, 285, and 290 cards do Xfire without a bridge now, but not the smaller stuff.

If you have any questions, let me know.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Graphics for the Price

Pros: Low cost, comes with low profile kit for tight spaces, doesn't need an extra power cable (it gets all of it's power straight from the MB), it made a huge improvement in my PC's overall performance.

Cons: One of the screw holes on the low profile kit didn't line up with the threaded hole on the card, the driver cd flat-out did not work.

Manufacturer Response:

Excellent! Thank you for the great review, we appreciate your positive feedback.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the price!

Pros: Great price/performance ratio
Low profile
Single slot width card
Works flawlessly in VMware ESXi 5.5U2 passed thru to a virtual HTPC!

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I am using this card for a VM to streams movies using Kodi AKA XBMC. It is installed in an ESXi host in PCI pass-thru mode. I am using a HDMI over Cat6 Ethernet cable to carry the signal to my 60" TV in my sitting room. Audio and Video works flawlessly! I purchased this card because the HD6450 I was using would not carry HDMI audio over the HDMI over Ethernet extender. Streaming 1080p content and Netflix works great! I plan to buy more of these cards to have virtual HTPCs throughout the house!

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the kind review, we appreciate your feedback.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with A8-7600

Pros: I bought this card to use as the second graphics for my A8-7600 APU for use as crossfire (dual graphics), and it works great. I am able to play many games (dirt 3, far cry 3) in 1920x1080 and with 40+ fps.

Cons: None.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review. We appreciate the positive feedback.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
