5 out of 5 eggsperforms like the geforce 9800GTX

Pros: this is no ordinary gddr3 graphics card,it performs like the geforce 8800GTX stock, but when you enable amd overdrive in the control center it performs like the geforce 9800GTX,as these are all gddr3 cards and they will only rate 6.9 on the windows experience index,i have been playing titanfall for days now without a single problem, and since titanfall is a VRAM hungry monster the 2GB vram is perfect

Cons: its not gddr5

Other Thoughts: gddr5 cards are a little more expensive but something to think about

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review!

1 out of 5 eggsVideo Card crashes

Pros: None

Cons: Video card crashes about once or twice a day. Can't return it now since I sent in the rebate. Stuck with it so I will have to buy another one. NOT ANOTHER XFX PRODUCT THOUGH.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Richard,

We're sorry you are having issues with your 250A.

If you are still having driver crashes, please contact me so i can investigate this for you.

5 out of 5 eggsVery happy with the card

Pros: Low profile and able to become narrow by splitting into two sockets, which was necessary for my computer.

Probably the best graphics card (one of the only ones with 4GB) that would fulfill these requirements

Cons: I would have paid more for a better one that fit the low profile, split brackets requirement, but none were available

Manufacturer Response:

Hello and thank you for the kind review. We are happy you are pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality, but no Linux Dual Graphics

Pros: Well built; it felt like a premium product despite being an entry-level card.

It's the most powerful card currently available that is both low-profile AND single slot. Great for HTPC's that need a little bit of power.

Fan was not very noticeable over the stock AMD cooler, and temperatures remained good throughout.

Cons: AMD does not support Dual Graphics mode under Linux

Other Thoughts: I originally bought this card to math it in Dual Graphics mode with a 7850K in an HTPC, to try to squeeze the most power out of a small form-factor PC. Unfortunately, I failed to notice that Dual Graphics is not supported under Linux, and I used Linux Mint 17.1 for my machine, so it doesn't quite work for my purposes.

I was still quite impressed by the quality of the card, though. It has nice detailing like the rounded edges of the PCB and other details that make this card stand out among other entry-level cards I've seen. There's still more powerful cards out there at a similar price, but if you need low profile and single slot, this card fills the niche very well.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Thank you for the great review. We appreciate your kind words. Hopefully the dual graphics linux support comes shortly.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Easy installation, nice price, fairly powerful.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Works well in my Dell Inspiron 546 with a regular PCIe 16x. Just updated the motherboard from Dell and removed old drivers with driver sweeper and good to go. Does take up the slot under the PCIe slot though, but not a big deal.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the review Tony, we appreciate your feedback.

5 out of 5 eggsA great buy for the price!

Pros: This sleek video card is a great value for a small ATX case with heat issues. Im using this card for Blueray and HD-Homerun. I find it amazing that the drivers enhance Blueray video without overheating. I had a card in the same ATX case and it took up two bays. It was against the sound card with a 1/8" gap to grab air. I would never get past 10 min with a Bluray video without over heating. The XFX card never overheats and it only uses one bay not two. Now I'm ordering an other card for crossfire!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product for the price!

Pros: Low profile ready is a plus for this card. I set it up using hybrid crossfire with an ASUS motherboard and it has been running flawlessly for over a month now. It is installed on a budget system that is primarily used for games and the customer has had no problems with it.

Cons: At this time there are no cons

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this card for someone building a budget system

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsActual Review

Pros: Had this card for a long while, almost a year. You get what you expect for the price. I played most current gen games on medium to mid high settings around 30FPS average. Benchmarks for HItman Absolution and Batman Origins were around 18 FPS on High, but back down to the 24-32 area on mid with some high tweaks. Overall Valeri up there is full of it. It's a small card. Only took one slot. Worked as advertised.
No power supply hook up needed obviously

Cons: $20 or so more can get you signifigantly better performance from another card, but if this is around your budget range then go for it.

Other Thoughts: I only used this with a single Monitor config. The rest of the rig at the time prior to upgrade:

Proc: AMD FX 8100 2.8GHz
Mobo: MSI 760GM-P34
RAM: 8GB Dual channel DDR3 1600MHz
PSU: Random no good 350W lol
240GB PNY SSD

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: This is a great card for a cheap build I can play shadow of morador, crisis 3, skyrim, and many more with out a hiccup. I have it on my 60" TV 1080p and it does great

Cons: Could be a little cheaper now
