4 out of 5 eggsR7 250X

Pros: Easy set up, drivers installed with ease even after uninstalling Nvidia drivers. No issues. Its not really a gaming card but will play some games on low settings. I use it primarily for streaming video which it works well

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Great card for a HTPC and video streaming. Nice aluminum housing.

4 out of 5 eggsDon't bite on these reviews

Pros: Great card
The display to my 43' Vizio Led is phenomenal
Upgraded from Radeon 7560 IGP and worth every penny

Cons: Nothing really bad to say. I read almost every review and all the people saying that the fan is loud is in my opinion very misleading I have it running off a 450PSU and I can't hear the fan whatsoever so please take a chance. I did and it paid off well.

Other Thoughts: Very highly recommended.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review! We are happy you are pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsRadeon HD7770

Pros: 4k support (low end)
HDMI/dual DVI/DisplayPort
Install DVD, good instructions
Well made, looks sort of deluxe, good value

Cons: DDR3 memory 2gb
no AMD FreeSync

Other Thoughts: Good looking value graphics card with some flexibility. Did not have any problems in a Dell T5500. Seems to be well made and is only ~7".

3 out of 5 eggsTo those have blank screen issues...

Pros: 250X should be a decent card for low end gaming in 1080 or mid end in lower resolutions.

Cons: power hungry

Other Thoughts: For those having issues where the screen will randomly go blank with "no imput source detected" or something similar, check your power supply. This line of AMD cards tend to suck up a lot of power. My xfx 260X had the same issue until I put in a 520w PSU replacing a 400w. While the power requirements here states 550w, a 500w should work.

Hope this helps!

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with any APU

Pros: None

Cons: It's an R7 chip that doesn't work with ANY AMD's APU's.

Other Thoughts: Anything above a 250 will not work. Any 250 or lower with an X will not work. Will cost you extra to return and get the right card

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Only 250 units work with APU's, not 250x, slightly different. If youre still interested in Dual Graphics, please visit amd's site or simply goodle AMD dual Graphics for qualifying hardware.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Our office uses these to run three monitors for our support and development staff. Installation is a breeze and they work as expected. I have had great success with the XFX brand so when I see that on a product I know I can trust it to work.

Cons: Haven't run into any so far.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely suggest these for anyone who needs to run three monitors, just don't forget the active display port adapter.

2 out of 5 eggsGood price and sleek rebranding doesn't make up for the internals

Pros: + Cheap after rebate
+ Better than Intel HD 530 graphics, barely
+ Fan and heatsink are overkill for this card
+ Supposedly 4k-ready, but I don't think it would have the power

Cons: - First card I received would repeatedly shut off after 1 minute. XFX support handled things well enough and sent me a replacement, which worked. Still, I would rather not deal with this, and it's a ding on XFX's product quality and reliability.
- Chipset is a re-badged HD7xxx from 2012. I didn't realize this at first, but I wish I could get an underclocked/entry-level version of a modern chipset instead.
- Fan was noisy at it's idle speed of 35%. Using SpeedFan and FurMark however, I found that the card could be stress tested at only 27% fan, which was much quieter. 100% fan would be way overkill.

Other Thoughts: My initial thinking when purchasing was, "graphics cards these days are so crazy powerful, that even a lower end one would be fine for me doing lightweight games, emulation, etc." But, I have found that Intel integrated graphics have come a long way since 2012, and unfortunately you have to break the $100 mark in order to get any benefit at all from discrete graphics.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well!

Pros: Works as intended. Runs most modern games at medium-high, with some of the more demanding shaders low/off. Definitely good for a budget build considering the price.

Cons: Has a lot of trouble running Fallout 4, though not really sure why. Might be worth it to invest a little more money into something a little more powerful.

Other Thoughts: Feels pretty sturdy, which is a plus.

4 out of 5 eggsgood for low end

Pros: Good card can get 1080p gameplay with 60fps on bf4 right out of the box. Mine craft easy 120fps consistent. This card will not run 4K vary well at all maybe 20 fps average.

Cons: Good for low end amd build above that you'll get bottle necked
