Breathe some life into your AGP system with this Radeon X1650PRO based card from HIS. The GPU clocks in at 600MHz for speedy game play. The memory clock on the 256MB of GDDR2 runs at 800MHz with a 128bit data path to reduce bottlenecks.

The high efficiency cooling system ensures lower operating temperatures for both the GPU and memory and extends the life of the card. The enclosed air path channels air across the components and heat sinks resulting in maximum cooling with minimal effort.

2 out of 5 eggsunsatisfied

Pros: well ive upgraded from a bfg 5700 LE OC and there was some difference in some of my games but like the one guy said OpenGL games it cant handle, i play alot of CS condition zero and it can only handle about 50 fps which is garbage considering i was expecting it to handle the game in full, after all it is a fairly old game

Cons: the core clock isnt what the specs said they would be, over heating problems, low fps rates, your much better going for an Nvidia 7000 series or greater at least u will get your moneys worth

Other Thoughts: i wouldnt waste your money on this card, this was my first ATI and now ive learned to stick with nvidia only,,,

1 out of 5 eggsPoor card for gamers

Pros: Not many. Runs fine for surfing the web

Cons: Noisy. Can't run games at all. Sims 2, Bloodrayne 2 will run for about 5 minutes and then freeze or go to a black screen.

Other Thoughts: I tried getting new drivers from both the ATI/AMD website and the HIS website and the newer drivers don't work (on XP or Vista.)

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works great for surfin web

Cons: Under heavy stress and OpenGL games it stinks, something to do with the VIA chipset,I used variuos drivers and same thing lock-up or freeze

Other Thoughts: HIS,ATI,VIA,AMD need to fix this so it works together. That`s why my card is a doorstop. I went back to NVIDIA and no problems.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not take the chance on this card.

Pros: Works great in my back-up PC.

Cons: Will not work in my main PC. This card has issues with some motherboards. It was mentioned in another review but he stated the brand of motherboard it was. I assumed it was an issue with just that brand. I'm not going to mention the brand of my motherboard. Just don't chance it on this card.

Other Thoughts: I'd RMA this card but I need my backup PC to be back online. This is the last video card I buy here. I'd rather have the option of returning it locally. This card and a Sapphire from Newegg has died on me now.

2 out of 5 eggsHmm, got a lemon

Pros: Price - good

Cons: I dunno, I got a lemon. Tried various drivers and always got artifact snow all over the screen and I don't play games! This was just at the desktop! Buyer Beware

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Upgraded from an FX5200 and its like night and day, I can now play oblivion, stalker, hl2:ep1 at max settings and 1280x1024(my monitor's max) Overall a good, cheap, worthwhile purchase.

Cons: For those of you that like to cram your towers into tight spaces, an after market cooler would be worth it, as it does get warm.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Huge improvement over my 9100 IGP. System run's a bit warmer. But not hot. Definite improvement in fps's in BF1942.

Cons: Memory clock reporting as 396 mhz?? I thought it was supposed to be 800??

Other Thoughts: 7600/7800 agp cards are known to give higher frame rates for the same price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the money.

Pros: The drivers that came with this card work well with all my games unlike the drivers packaged with my 9600xt and 9000 Pro cards. Most games run at double the frame rate of the 9600xt.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggsnot impressed

Pros: I bought this card as an upgrade from an old Geforce FX 5200, and I can hardly tell a difference in the FPS game I play called Warrock, only difference I saw was detailed shadows and wall paper, but in my bros game everquest 2 he can now play in high quality mode without alot of lag, also I can play Granado Espada without getting a head ache.

Cons: For me, this card is very noisy, also the advertised 800 memory clock speed is only its effective speed, its clock is 594/391.5 out of the box, I wouldnt OC this unless I had a better fan for it.

Other Thoughts: I am going to return it for a refund, im not impressed with it at all, just going to save my money up for a new system.

4 out of 5 eggsworks well

Pros: Works well with Vista on my old comp (Asus A7N8 Deluxe mobo). Graphics score jumped to 4.3. Games: to 4.8! All my games run fast! Quiet!

Cons: GDDR2. Memory Clock: 396 MHz

Other Thoughts: Installation was easy but required special power connector. Fortunately my power supply had one. Downloaded driver for Vista from hisdigital.com. Haven't even looked at the supplied CD. Good product!
