5 out of 5 eggsSolid Card

Pros: This is a perfect card for the extra umph in a slim case. the low profile slots of the case I went with limited my Video card choices darstically... though this does the job quite nicely. allows for moderate gaming at best, though perfect for MS office/internet browsing/etc...

Cons: If one expects to get an home office based video card with a little extra power, there are no cons.

Other Thoughts: Go to HIS's website to download the drivers. Without this the motherboard I used coughed a little bit before booting up properly.
(I will say I did not try the most updated of ATI drivers though)

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I bought this for an elderly lady that needed 2 monitors to use her vision software - ZoomText.
There isn't much of a selection for low profile video cards with dual output.
This one fit the bill.

Cons: none really, with the exception of the driver installation. I didn't want the 200 meg Cataylyst control SW so I went to ATI's site and pulled down the driver w/o the extra 200 meg..

5 out of 5 eggsgenuine description

Pros: - wanted dual-digital to support side-by-side 19" widescreens (fun to install)
- no gaming, straight engineering PC for PADS layout/routing & 3D modeling of parts assemblies (not movie-making - but the rapid rendering of mouse manipulation of > 1000 components!)

- though not intended to support 3D at time of purchase decision, it was used an hour after it arrived in shipping dock to enable a team design review

This card met the required results of affordable & functional in an advanced engineering environment.

Cons: - not a con but an advisory...

pay note to the placement of the secondary interface above the card.

I found no other dual-digital, low profile (my peeps like their setups micro) cards by any other manufacturer at NewEgg.

Other Thoughts: - ATI chipset driver install was well produced, the option to install the driver alone or a litany of "complimentary" software with it was appreciated.

- driver install did not interfere with production software environment of computer.

- 3D parts modeling was not expected for this card, typically I pre-qualify those cards with the 3D software vendor prior to purchase... very pleased with its debut on our production environment.

- NewEgg processed and shipped flawlessly (as usual, +1 order a month since Mr. Xu recommended them to me).

Pros: This card fit into my slim case perfectly, I was able to run most games I had on full. Good buy.

Cons: Stock fan doesn't keep it extremly cool

Other Thoughts: With 2 gigs of ram I was able to run Oblivion on pretty high settings. Extremely Pleased.
