5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card

Pros: GDDR4 Memory.
DirectX 10
Heavy (Yes, this is a pro).
Comes with all adapter you need.

Cons: Only 256MB 128-bit memory. Some may view the flame vinyl a bit "cheesy", but I love it.

Other Thoughts: I am not a hardcore gamer at all so I can not give you how this card rates in games, FPS, ect.

I only have a 17" monitor :( (Upgrading)

It was a huge upgrade from my Radeon X300 SE xD

The card is red, which is awesome in my case as I am using a chassis with tons of blue leds, so the card looks sweet.

I already used this card for my build, and am getting ready to buy it for another.

Don't hesitate, just buy it. (Get it before the rebate ends) You'll be happy

4 out of 5 eggsWha...?

Pros: ...

Cons: ...

Other Thoughts: How in the world did someone get their core to 1 ghz? i have mine running at 850...stable but it absolutely will not go any higher. I have the same setup as that guy: AMD 3800 X2 (can't get it higher than 2.6 stable), 2 gb DDR2 800, HD 2600Xt. Help would be appreciated.

5 out of 5 eggsMoto- not correct

Pros: see other thoughts

Cons: see other thoughts

Other Thoughts: Mr Moto- you explained the frequency correctly- but I don't agree with the whole motherboard HDMI header thing. Since the card itself contains a 5.1 audio chip what is the point of the header? My only guess is that if you have a great onboard audio or a audio card, then the HDMI header might allow you to bypass the onboard 5.1 audio that is resident on the card. I think the issue the other reviewer had is they either were not successful in loading the audio drivers correctly, or that the windows settings were not set right to use the audio coming off of the videocard. Either way Radeon 2K & 3K series do not need any external connectors to pass audio to the HDMI port, although- some NVIDIA card that do sport HDMI interface do require an external connector, since those cards do not have onboard audio codecs.

4 out of 5 eggsto the reviewer that send that the memory speed is incorrect

Pros: you should educate yourself about a product before you bash it. the quoted memory speed is correct...2200mhz is the effective double pumped memory speed. 1100mhz is the actual speed. all of the newer ATI cards are like this.

Cons: also, hdmi audio will not work unless you have a hdmi audio header on your motherboard and you can hook that up to your vid card, it has nothing to do with drivers.

Other Thoughts: i wish people would educate themselves before listing things as cons, when the issues are by no limitation of the hardware.

4 out of 5 eggsMy HIS Card

Pros: Works well in Crossfire array even with cards by other manufacturers. It's flexible in its connections allowing for nearly any type of monitor to be used.

Cons: As was said before, the drivers are screwy. I used an HDMI cable to connect to my TV. Prior to installing and upon uninstalling the drivers, my color was perfectly normal. However, when those drivers went in, everything turned a pretty shades of purple and green. Not to mention that not one bit of sound came through my speakers. This holds true with newer and older version drivers.

Other Thoughts: Though this card would make for a great rave or easter accessory, maybe it's best to try the DVI-HDMI cable instead as it works fine. Also, Newegg's timings are incorrect as far as the GPU and memory go. Try 800 GPU and 1100 memory peeps!

5 out of 5 eggsGood Medium Vid Card

Pros: This is a great card for those who are short in $$$. Plays games great and always stays above 60fps if you have a decent cpu. Came with orange box. Portal, HL2, and Team Fortress 2. Recommend to anyone.

Cons: There was problems with the drivers, but by now anyone who buys it should have no problem installing.

Other Thoughts: Had this card for a while now and I have no complains.
