5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for $

Pros: PRICE:Preformance
The price on this thing is amazing!!! I hope newegg will continue to sell these at this price! I was planning to buy 3 tommorow (maybe more after that for a total of 5) but newegg is all sold out :(
Perfect for my LAN machines for my friends to use at my lan parties since none of them have decent computers.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Please newegg continue to sell these great cards!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: These things work really well in crossfire. Got 7.0 in windows 7 64bit score. Did i mention quiet yet robust to handle any budget minded gamer.

Cons: Didn't get a third one for triple crossfire but who really needs to do that.

Other Thoughts: System Specs:
AMD x4 965 7.4 on windows 7
8 gigs of ddr3 7.5 on windows 7
Gigabyte board
300 gig raptor drive
1 tb drive
2 of these in crossfire 7.0

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: I would have to say wow! Quietness is bliss. Plus the performance from these old cards is awesome. 5.9 in vista 64bit. Plus makes my case look likes it meant for gaming. All my games run smooth except for crysis which i have put to medium settings to run ok.

Cons: My hdd is louder than this card but other than that no cons i see.

Other Thoughts: I plan on getting another one for crossfire performance.
System Specs:
AMD Phenom II x2 550
4 gigs of 1066 ram
500 gig hdd
Asus crossfire board
Vista Home premium 64bit(planning on windows 7 soon though)
This Card!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsFast awsome

Pros: This card is by far one of the best i have seen. I have 2 gaming computers and i bought 2 different cards to see witch of the 2 would work and last the best. The other card i bought was an MSI 8800gt OC 512. To this day on Windows 7 the ATI 3870 is beter. Cost was about $50.00 dif and the ATI was cheaper. The Windows exp Rating on the 2 cards are 6.2 on both desktop and gaming for the 3870. The 8800gt is a 5.9. In WOW in the worst place the Ati gets about 15 to 25 FPS more then the 8800gt. Nice card. I have always been a die hard Nvidia guy but price per "bang"! Ati has won my life long support. Good Job AMD!!!!!!

Cons: Card is real Heavy and runs HOT!! Not every day but some days gaming in WOW for some time like 5-6 hours solid the card over heats. Not all the time but sometimes. Found the only way to fix is to Put a redicuals amount of Case fans in to keep internal temp as low as you can.

Other Thoughts: Drives can be a problem, Had a few blue screens in the start but got updated drivers and worked fine. Have not tried to OC the card yet as there was no need to at the time i got this card. It has been a hole year later and she is still kicking. Love this card.

3 out of 5 eggsATi games.

Pros: From what I understand, for you people who play TF2, or anyother source game, this card beats the 9800 GTX, which is the same price here on newegg. I like both GPU companies.

Cons: Hardly any ATI powered games, so you'd mostly have this for source engine games.

Other Thoughts: Same price, better frames on source games, sells itself. XD

Anways, you could always find a cheaper ATi card that's decent to run source games. I personally prefer Nvidia overall.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Great Video Card

Pros: Very fast. Runs games such as Far Cry, Halo, and Company of Heroes with high settings (VSYNC enabled) in the 60 frames per second range (monitor refresh rate). Can also Run Folding at Home and get between 2000 and 2750 points per day. Also runs fairly cool because of the heatsink design.

Cons: Can get a little warm when running Folding at Home (around 65 - 75 degrees Celsius with fan at 90 percent). Other than that, none really.

Other Thoughts: I would buy this video card again. I bought this card in late June early July of 2008 and the card is still working great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card, runs Crysis Warhead, Farcry2, Source (old i know) beautifully.

Cons: HIS website reports the core and mem clock at 775Mhz/2252Mhz but my system reads 800Mhz/1295Mhz.

can't get the memory to go to 2252 with Catalyst Overdrive. Not a big problem to me since the performance of this card is great anyways.

Other Thoughts: Comp Spec
-ECS A780GM-A mobo
-Phenom x3 8450 (2.1Ghz x3)
-2gig G-Skill DDR2 800
-Seagate 500g 7200rpm 32mb cache sata
-Coolmax 700w Modular PS

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: good card plays all the latest games everything turned up to max

Cons: had a few issues with this card at first so i went ahead seek out the problem and it was the drivers. I recommend u download the drivers for the 3850 series and not for the 3870 and it should run fine.

Other Thoughts: problem with 3870 drivers not running right with most games.
