5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Able to turn settings to high on both Red Alert 3 and Need For Speed Undercover. Temps are low-med even under full load.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Dual slot cooler comes extremely close to the 3rd slot, the gap between it and my firewire card is very close. Also one of the sata slots is blocked, but it is a micro-atx board.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: very quiet, cool, plays older games at max settings, plays new ones at medium

Cons: card is thick, picture does not do justice, CD sucks, get drivers off AMD website, struggled setting it up with my LCD TV. Had to hook up computer monitor first and then configure.

Other Thoughts: e7200 @ 3.16 GHZ
Patriot DDR2800

Plays Crisis at 1280x1024 on Medium with 35 fps
Plays GTAIV at 1280x1024 on Medium with 30 fps

Card runs at a cool 30C idle and 48C under load

I'm tempted to overclock this card, but am not familiar with overclocking GPUs

HDMI audio driver is not included with the catalyst drivers off the ati site. you must download it seperately.

If there's no audio through hdmi after installing drivers. you have to go to control panel --> sounds and audio devices --> sounds tab --> select the hdmi output in the dropdown box.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Works without power cable, so I can run it in a Dell Vostro 200 with a 300 watt power supply without problems. 3dMark score of 7400 (2.2ghz Intel 4500 processor) for 80 bucks. Quiet. Runs very cool, helps keeps everything else in the cramped case cool by expelling the hot air.

Cons: Somewhat large.

Other Thoughts: 2600XT scored 4600, 2600 Pro scored 3200 in same set-up. Quieter than the 2600's. I want another one.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: I was most surprised by this card. I figured it would run WoW and L4D at max at 1280x1024, but I wasn't expecting the same exact playable settings at 1680x1050 on my new 22". Well, L4D the MSAA went from 8X to 4X, and the AF from 8X to 4X as well, but still impressed by a sub $100 card.

I haven't noticed any irritating fan noise, but I use a headset while gaming, so I wouldn't notice it while under load. While Idle I can't hear it.

I chose this card because:

1) No external Power required
2) Dual slot solution wont dump hot air in the case.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Amazing card, don't hesitate to buy if your gaming at 1680x1050 or below.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: excellent video PQ in all formats for htpc use. fan is quiet enough for htpc.

Cons: bought this for htpc use. if you want to send audio over hdmi, read all the forum postings on the EDID problems with getting ati 4xxx series cards to recognize hdmi connections which is required to output hdmi audio. Connected via hdmi to a Denon 1909, this card/ati 8.11 drivers report a DVI connection in CCC. Consequently get no audio.
HIS support site is worthless. about ready to rma this sucker to newegg if ati doesn't release a driver fix pronto.

Other Thoughts: gotta love the physical design of this card for htpc use. dual slot exhausts hot air out the rear of the case, fan is near silent. only problem is the lack of hdmi connector, having to use the dvi-hdmi dongle, poor drivers not recognizing hdmi connnections. ati and his should be ashamed at releasing a card with advertised features (hd audio over hdmi/dvi) that don't work.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Thermals

Pros: Excellent 3D performance for what you pay for. About 2x-2.5x performance over my 2600XT. Very nice design. Good 3D for what you pay for. I've had better results with ATI on the mid to low end for the last couple of years, and this doesn't disappoint. I like dual slot coolers, because it forces air outside of the case. BluRay & HDDVD playback only use about 12-25% of CPU due to hardware acceleration of VC1/MPEG4 decoding done by the video card.

Cons: To get the excellent thermals & card temperatures, HIS had to make it a dual slot cooler. I don't think this is a real con, because I was looking for a dual slot, but some may not like it.

Other Thoughts: I have a 2600XT, 7600GT, 3650, and so far this 4670 has to be the cheapest (sub 100) card I've purchased. The latter cards cost to the upwards of 200$, so it's very impressive.

5 out of 5 eggsThumbs Up

Pros: Good performance in actual games, consistent crossfire performance, low power usage, silent, and they look good.

Cons: There was a slight resin residue left on the CrossFire contacts, and the bridges werent included.

Other Thoughts: Havent had a chance to use them in Vista, but XP64 performance in CrossFire is better than a single HD4850.

The issue with the bridge contacts was resolved by re-seating the bridges about 5-10 times with the cards out of the computer.
