5 out of 5 eggsOverall great card!

Pros: This video card is one of the most efficient cards I've used. It uses barely enough power to require an additional power connector. Due to its 45nm chip it also stays very cool on low fan settings. It can run all my games from HL2 to CoD4 on high settings for under 120 dollars.

Cons: the circuit board is red?

Other Thoughts: I put this card into my SN78SH7 Shuttle case and ran fine with only a 300W PSU. The heatsink did not fit due to the PCIE location so I installed a fanless zalman heatsink on the video card. The card runs at 50C idle and 56C load with a fanless heatsink in a compact system with only one system fan; now that's cool (pun intended).

5 out of 5 eggsDid I downgrade or upgrade?

Pros: First of all, it is only $99. Well, when I bought it, at least. The price keeps fluctuating. Secondly, it is GDDR5 and it's 40nm. For someone like myself who plays some of the most popular games, this vidCard is very good. I was actually thinking of buying the Sapphire 4870 1GB because I do a lot of animation & video rendering with Maya & Lightwave. But since I am on a budget and I'm only using a 19" monitor, going with this card was a very wise decision and a total surprise. Handles pretty well with the games that I play, works well with animation even though it is only 512MB. I downgraded from an ATi 4850 512MB vidCard by Visiontek and to be honest with you, I am actually starting to ask myself if I really did downgrade. Perhaps I didn't...

Cons: There is actually no disadvantages that I have found nor encountered with this vidCard. The only gripe that I have with it is how come they didn't make a 1GB version? That's it. I guess we're gonna have to wait. Putting all that aside, I highly recommend this vidCard to anybody that is looking for efficiency, performance and price.

Other Thoughts: "This is proof that high performance gaming and price can co-exist without compromise..."

My Machine:

- G.Skill DDR2, 4GB, 1066
- Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P AM3/AM2+/AM2

1 out of 5 eggsDVI problem

Pros: cheap price and good ability. Low heat.

Cons: DVI doesn't work at all, Although I can use DVI with my previous video card, HD3850, and on-board DVI.

I installed operation systems two times to make sure.
I used both a HIS drive and the lastest Catalyst 9.5 that supports HD4770.

Other Thoughts: I have more complaint.

First, I ordered this on Tuesday with $2.99 prompt charge, and i received this a week later.

In addition, I bought five 1TB seagate HDDs. 1 of 5 HDD doesn't work.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Video card

Pros: I love it. I can run the orange box, Left 4 dead, and pretty much anything out today full screen with all the settings turned up way high on the highest resolution. It's VERY inexpensive but it's just wonderful. Definitely recommended!

Buy this. You won't be disappointed.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I did have to be careful choosing a power supply with this. It requires one 6-pin PCI-E power. The requirements said it required two but I only had to use one.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent card

Pros: Low power consumption of 80w at load. Great performance for the price. Easy to fit into most systems, it's only about 8 1/4 inches long. It's quiet and runs cool (under 60C in my system at load).

Cons: Drivers are still a bit immature.

Other Thoughts: Using this with a Gigabyte 790x, Phenom2 x3 720, 2x2 GB of 1066 RAM at 1680X1050 resolution to play WoW. All but a couple settings maxed. Getting 50+ fps in Dal, 60 fps everywhere else including 25 man raids. Haven't done large scale PvP.

5 out of 5 eggsvery happy with this card

Pros: I'm using this card to replace an 8600GT from XFX, and it crushes my old card in terms of performance. It's also way quieter than my old one, which is a very nice plus. I replaced my OEM power supply with a 500 watt Antec to drive this puppy, and everything came together perfectly on the first try. Max settings on Fallout 3 look amazing. All in all, I love it.

Cons: None yet, knock on wood.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Team Fortress 2 runs at 60FPS with every setting on Highest, 16x Anti Alias at 1600x1200 resolution. I'm not overclocking or anything, this is just the standard install with the included drivers. This card is just going to get better with future drivers, but it's awesome already.

Cons: 1. Included driver disc reports errors during/after install but everything work fine despite the warnings (apparently these are temporary drivers).

2. Doesn't include 6-pin PCIE power cable that some other cards ship with. If your power supply doesn't have one of these cables built in, you'll need an adapter, and a minimum 450w power supply to run it.

Other Thoughts: WARNING!!! You might need a new Power Supply to use this card!

I couldn't get my system to boot after installing this card. Turns out my 400w power supply wasn't sufficient to run this card. I ended up buying an Antec Basiq 500w and everything works great now. They should put a big disclaimer on all new cards about how much power you'll need to run them.

5 out of 5 eggsABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Pros: I use this baby to replace my old Sapphire 4850 and it is a champ. I am running 915/1000 (core/mem) and I can still go higher after I flashed her with the ASUS TOP bios and now I am able to control the voltages. She is just amazing

Cons: Cooling is pathetic! I hate the stock cooler. I ram running 90C max at my current overclock and it is just nuts.

Other Thoughts: FYI, get a new cooler. Any cooler that has 43mm mounting holes will do fine and also, make sure that you use some better thermal compound as well.

Right now I am scoring 14.1K on 3dmarks 06!
