5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cheap Graphics Card

Pros: Originally purchased 12/28/2009.
It still works.
probably not the best gaming card by today's standards, but it held it's own back in 2009 for the price.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: After owning this card for 2 years, we gave it to our cousin (I don't even know how long it's going to last there). We upgraded to a 480, then a 280X.

1 out of 5 eggsLong term review

Pros: While it worked, played all my games flawlessly from Call of Duty to Oblivion. Customer service by HIS honored the warranty.

Cons: The card failed just within the warranty period. The replacement card failed after two months of use.

Other Thoughts: This was my first experience with an HIS graphics card. Taking in consideration the failure of the original card and the short life span of the warranty replacement card, I suspect it will be my last HIS graphics card. Fortunately for me, my motherboard has onboard graphics until I decide which card to purchase next.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely Incredible

Pros: Durability-This card lasted me 4 years before finally, slowly, dieing.

Dependability-Despite its age, this card held up against even modern day games. Would play Skyrim on medium high settings flawlessly. Played DayZ at medium high as well.

Very Quiet

Easy setup/install.

Did I mention, incredibly durable?

Cons: After 4 years, the only con to this card is that it would get hot enough to slowly warp the board around the GPU (probably a result of overclocking it) which eventually prevented the heat sink from making proper contact with the GPU. This was fixed by placing a penny between the processor and the heat sink, but that was only a temporary fix and only lasted about 6 months.

Other than that, no cons WHATSOEVER!

Other Thoughts: This video card was possibly one of the best I have ever used. It blew the 9800 GTX out of the water after I tweaked with it, and was on par with it before hand. On top of that, it was (at the time) about $100 less than the GTX. It by far outlasted the GTX as well. Great buy, SOOO worth the money. Instead of buying a newer card, I may just buy two of these and crossfire them.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable

Pros: Had this card for over 2 years now and it has been good for me as long as i had it... Never overheated on me and is still running strong. Although it can only play modern games on low-med it is good for what i paid for it.

Cons: Outdated

5 out of 5 eggsOld Tech... still kicking

Pros: Low Price, It runs BF3 on low to med setting (Pretty CRAZY) even when the cars it almost 3 year old by now. The ONLY occation it overheated (loud fan) was due to my wife covering the air intakes with a bag (she heard of it). Very eazy to overclock and it take a beating without even a small complain. Very happy with this card. I does stay extreamly cool... nice design.

Cons: I can't really handle to monitors that well but for the price, I can't really complain.

Other Thoughts: I doesn't really handle 2 monitors while playing a game to full settings, but once again, it is not a expencive card.

5 out of 5 eggsNon DX 11 BF 3 On low Settings

Pros: This baby can play Battlefield 3 On low or medium settings with 30FPS with a 720p resolution. It is pretty ridiculous how well it can play new games. The reason I tested it out is, I sold my 5850 and bought a 6870; a 45$ upgrade.

Cons: None considering how old it is. I am impressed that it can play BF3. Additionally, I'm getting my 6870 delivered today.

Other Thoughts: It overclock well and has a nice fan noise sound even at higher speeds. It's using a blower style cooler.

5 out of 5 eggs

-Fan is quiet and keeps the GPU at about 32 C even when workload is high
- 1GB DDR3 is pretty fast
-Good for the price

Cons: -Only supports up Directx 10.1

Other Thoughts: Not the latest in technology but is good for playing games with almost maxed out settings, Overall a good card, but would like newer tech. Has never let me down

it's in a machine w/:
Gigabyte 790x-UD4P
850 watt PSU
AMD Phenom II black edt 3.1X2

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems!

Pros: Quiet. Fan exhausts the hot air out the back efficiently. Been running 1080p with increased dpi for months w/ no problem. Increased my experience rating from 3.5 to 5.3. Plays SC2 on high settings but not ultra with 60fps.

Cons: my old Nvidia had an option to stretch the screen size horrizontal or vertical. At 720p it fills up my whole 42" screen. At 1080p it does not. About an inch or two loss.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to build a new computer but I decided to instead invest on an $80 graphics card to extend the life of a 2007 computer.
